Filibuster Distillery, Makers of award-winning Bourbons and Rye situated in Beautiful Shenodha County, VA, and close to Washington DC, is currently seeking candidates to join our production team as a Distiller. • Experience with machinery boilers, air compressors, and chillers.
• The distillate production process, from grain selection all the way to the barrel
• Grain – Receive grain trucks of corn, rye, and barley; ensuring proper quality before acceptance
• Mashing – operate the cooker to produce a consistent, quality mash
• Distilling – operate column still with one doubler
• Blending – precise calculation, measurement, and process control in spirit blending
• Proofing – accurate calculation, measure, and process control for bottling and barreling
• Record keeping – maintain production logs of every process operation
• Cleaning and sanitizing – all equipment and production workspaces
• Maintenance of production equipment in con
• Manage raw ingredients inventories, schedule deliveries, and forecast production needs
• Comfortable with professional interaction with guests
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to drive a fork-lift

This is a full-time position, with a compensation package that includes salary plus bonus with benefits.
