Give aways and Promos

How do you all usually handle give aways and promos in a 3 tiered state

1. Say a local bar that carries your stuff you want to help promo a trivia night. What is allowed?
2. Can you give away say bottle openers , shot glasses too?

It's all up to the state laws. Every state can be different. Talk to your local alcohol regulating body in your state and ask them specifically what you want to do.
