My name is Charlie Nelson, and I am working to resurrect Nelson's Green Brier Distillery, started by my g.g.g. grandfather, Charles Nelson. The distillery produced and sold the original Tennessee Whiskey (Nelson's Green Brier Whiskey), before Jack Daniel's, but did not re-emerge after Prohibition. As you all are keenly aware, the road to opening your own distillery is a long and difficult one, but I made the decision to dedicate my life to bringing my family's brand of whiskey back to the marketplace. Currently we are working on the financing of this operation and would love to talk to anyone who is interested in sharing their story, and I am always open to advice.
