Long Island Spirits is expanding its “Farm to Bottle” distillery and seeking a unique individual to become its new “Head Distiller”. Founded in 2007, the Distillery is surrounded by over 5,000 acres of farms, in the heart of the acclaimed wine region on the picturesque North Fork of Long Island and just minutes from the world famous Hamptons.

Long Island Spirits is seeking a Head Distiller as it expands its Distribution both Nationally and Internationally. The Head Distiller will need to perform and lead the daily distillery and warehouse tasks in conjunction with a small team performing multiple operations within the production facility. The Head Distiller will have a special attention to detail and be responsible for all distillery operations including milling, mashing, distilling, bottling, packaging, proofing, driving a forklift, equipment maintenance and cleaning. Additionally, the Head Distiller will also be responsible for all warehouse and distillery related administrative activities including record keeping, safety policies, inventory management, production scheduling, staff management and maintenance of a Quality Control program.

Our ideal candidate will be a hard working, self-starter that thrives in working with meticulous care under limited supervision. This detail team-oriented personality must have a background in Distilling and or Brewing coupled with experience in leadership.
