choosing between broker or yourself to find distributors in mutiple states

In couple months starting up distillery in Tenn.Want to get started in several states as soon as possible.It seems a broker with connections already would be best choice for multiple states.Your thoughts and who you might suggest.Would like surrounding states and Fla maybe NY.

Brokers and distributors are in the business to make money. They will not make your brand a success unless you have tremendous amounts of capital. Even then it is a gamble. Sell local, sell a lot,

have a compelling story, and a quality product. Unless your in Gatlinburg, then you can sell the tourists anything. Craft distillers need to consider that they are going to be a regional product first.
