Latkasimka
So selling at farmers markets has become legal here in WA state, and I assume it's legal in some other states as well. Anyone doing this? If so, how is it going?
NEPA-still-chillin
Here is NY we are able to do this as well, As long as you have the proper distillery license which a "D" license here. Its a great outlet that allows extra revenue. I've personally worked them myself and its generally a great interaction. The customer experience and feed back is great and sales aren't bad if you are in a good market. One thing I've come across is generally most markets start fairly early and a majority of consumers are very off put by buying or tasting spirits in the morning, sales and tasters always pick up in the afternoon. bull
We are signed up for our local farmers market. We won't be able to sell product until July, but the licensing is straight forward and the hype is through the roof. Don't hesitate to begin advertising for it once you know you are locked in.
