Santa Fe Spirits is looking for an Apprentice Distiller:

 

This is an entry level position with potential for a long term career as a distiller and is a paid apprenticeship; we are willing to train the right person.  Duties include assisting the distiller in day to day operation of the distillery (i.e. still operation, mashing, general maintenance of facility equipment), and helping with all the production operations such as bottling, inventory and warehouse operations.  The right candidate is dependable, detail oriented, hardworking, comfortable working in potentially hazardous conditions and also possesses strong multi-tasking and time management skills.  Applicant must be able to lift 50 pounds, follow recipes, create and keep spreadsheets, follow OSHA guidelines and work autonomously. Forklift experience, mechanical aptitude and experience in brewing (extensive home brewing counts), fermentation, yeast propagation, fractional distillation, and/or chemical analysis are a plus.
