  1. Happy Tuesday Everyone I am looking into importing bulk spirits from Amsterdam to the US as part of a few new products we're developing, and I'm hoping for some suggestions from the hive mind. From what I understand, We need to apply for an importing permit as part of our DSP license Find a customs broker Correctly report our imports on our state and federal reports Correct me if I'm wrong, but I should be able to apply for the importing permit on Permits Online. I have a few referrals for customs brokers, but suggestions are always welcome! When it comes time to report imports to the feds, do we have to file additional reports on top of our normal production, storage, processing, and excise tax reports? Cheers!
  2. Hi_ We offer import services, compliance, distribution, warehousing and delivery. Based in NY & NJ. We are a boutique firm with amazing prices. www.Swirlbev.com We are expanding our services to California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Florida next month.
  3. I'm working with a distillery outside of the US to provide some distillate for a new venture. Does anyone know of a comprehensive overview of this process? Maybe on this forum? My searches have come up empty. Stringing together all of the TTB, Customs and Border information is making my head spin!
  4. Hey all, I have a couple of questions on the processing report: - Part II: Finished Products, what constitutes a packaged product? - Under part IV C,D,E, and F Do you need to put packaged products in this category as well, or only bottled? If no, is there a location where finished packaged products go? Thanks, Chris 3030 www.threethousandthirty.com
  5. We were discussing a hypothetical situation today and I thought I would throw it out here to get everybody else's thoughts. We were wondering if a situation arose in which you purchased a finished product through a domestic company that originated in a foreign country, would it fall into column C or D of part IV on the production report? For example: Lets say a distillery was going out of business. They had imported some Russian vodka to sell and you wanted to purchase their remaining stock to sell it. I a wondering how this transaction would need to look in the eyes of the TTB. Is column B only for products that you have imported, or for any finished product that was imported? Is there another scenario in which you could purchase a finished foreign product from a domestic supplier for resale? Thanks, Chris 3030 www.threethousandthirty.com
