  1. There's an option on the profile settings to enable moderation on comments - but maybe that's only to comments on ones profile?

It is a post-harvest thanksgiving, incorporating pagan and Christian elements. Ours is based on the cider-country traditions of Herefordshire, England. wassail: noun, intransitive verb. From Anglo-Saxon was hail – ‘be healthy’ The Wassail SongOh apple tree, we’ll wassail thee in hope that thou will bear. Only the Lord does know where we shall be to be merry another year. To blow well and to bear well, and so merry let us be. Let every man drink up his cup, here’s health to the old apple tree. Apples now – Hats full, caps full, three bushel bags full, Barrels full, barn floors full, Even a little heap under the stair. Hip, Hip, Hooray! Hip, Hip, Hooray! Hip, Hip, Hooray! So here’s to thee, oh apple tree. Be sure thee bud, be sure the bow and bring forth apples. Hats full, caps full three bushel bags full. Hip, Hip, Hooray! Hip, Hip, Hooray! Hip, Hip, Hooray!
  4. I am Charles McGonegal. I run AEppelTreow Winery (pronounced apple true) in Burlington, WI. We produce was is most essentially fancy hard cider - and perry. Sparkling, still, draft and dessert. My primary interest in spirits is for fortification. I produce several orchard mistelles. (Vermouth is a mistelle.) I am working to amend WI law to clear a tied house restriction that prevents a winery with a tasting room from also licensing a distillery.
  5. I had a similar question last year, when trying to figure out how to document transfering wine to a DSP (and spirits back). There are a couple places int he Regs that talk about certain ATF form numbers - and i called to ask about them. The specialist said those references were obsolete - they use commercial records now - so long as the commercial records contain all the info specified in the CFR. I looked at both the wine, and the spirits sections - and mostly the required info is the same. Maybe the situation is the same for beer?
  6. I use Waterloo Container (www.waterloocontainer.com) out of NY. A decent selection and I've had good luck with their customer service. They even helped arrange freight for equipment that I ordered elsewhere. If you're flexible on the timing, they'll coordinate with other orders to reduce shipping. I tend to order three pallets at a time - but mixed and matched. I've ordered as little as 30-40 cases of some bottles. On a side note, Vitro stopped producing one of the bottles I use most (W106 punted champagne). Saint Gobain makes one that is supposed to be the same spec - but the breakage in my corker suggests that it's not quite the same. I've also had to adjust packaging as capsule producers have gone out of business. Loosing suppliers is very frustrating.
