  1. I found a company locally near Napa called TCW Equipment that has some in-house made equipment used by wineries including a bottle filler. I'm trying to contact some companies currently using them to gain some feedback, and will post what I get.
  2. Silly question, but do you have an agitator on your still? I use a roller mill, and if you start at a lower temp, and use a little more alpha amylase as OSD suggests, you should get a tick higher yield.
  3. A couple of my first fermenting bins were food oil IBC totes. It was easy enough to clean off the oil residue, and it took some steaming to reclaim a neutral cent. Point of the story...if they are a good deal, in decent shape, and you don't mind taking a little time to clean them (granted you could try to a vinegar solution), than you can easily get away using them.
  4. Hello Everyone, I have an easy enough time finding 4 spout bottle fillers, however...I'm trying to track down an American made 4 spout bottle filler. Can someone help point me in the correct direction...if not (I still refuse to believe it) does anyone have a particular filler they would like to swear by for under 2k as a starter filler.
