  1. Gretchen, We were allowed this option, however; on the COLA submission, they required all blanks on the label to be filled in, even if its a range. They required us to make a note on the submission that stated that the information in the blank would vary from batch to batch.
  2. Based on the way his correspondence was put together and worded, I was thinking he was European or something.? Much to my amazement, however, he's from good 'ol Michigan, USofA! He refused to provide references (my guess is there are none), he had no pictures or examples of his work to show off. All that was provided was a price list that was totally asinine. Then he provided a freight quote for a 53' truckload of barrels from Michigan to Texas at $8,000. Yes that's Eight Thousand Dollars! For a single domestic truck load (Non-Hazmat) freight!?! One Truck? I could move 12 trucks for that amount! THEN, he wanted 100% of the total invoice in advance! Ha! Dude builds rat mazes... 'Nuf Said
  3. Not interested in doing that at all. Based on several posts it seems like this is not an uncommon practice though...
  4. I have 4 approved COLAS right now. Just like everyone else, I'm having difficulty with 6 more right now, typical nonsensical runaround stuff. I read somewhere in one of these forums that its common to submit the same COLA multiple times (like 100 times loll). I never would consider this approach; however, I have certainly noticed that there is a maximum number of daily COLA submissions, and that number is something on the order of 100-200? I have always wondered why it was there. Now it makes sense, and I am considering cracking a bottle and spending a couple days doing nothing but flooding the system with these darn things. Curious what sort of responses people have gotten from doing this...? More importantly, is it effective? Thanks, Travis
  5. Just got denied on this exact topic. Molasses in the mash doesn't qualify as a whiskey. It will be classed as a DSS.
