Stacking Barrels in a 40 ft HC Container

Recommended Posts

We get 53 using bunkering like above in a 20' container. We cut 4x4x10' with a 8° chamfer on the top side.  We originally used all-thread to create the spacers between the rails but now use 4" nylon webbing (cheaper).

We put a large capped vent on top and 2" louver vents on the bottom (6 per side, two on the ends).

How do you secure the webbing to the rails?

We first burn a hole in the nylon using a heated nail where the wood screw needs to go. We then use a fender washer sandwiched between the screw head and the webbing. We tie the webbing to the inside sides of the 4x4
