Curtis Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Greetings. Amy body out there know of a means to etch/burn/engrave the head of a barrel? Companies that provide such equipment would be appreciated. Thank you.
Few Spirits Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 We got a stainless stencil made for spraypainting, but obviously etching etc would be cooler.
Dave Rigo Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 ISC and barrel mill do it for you upon request.
Jason Parker Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Hello Few Spirits, I'm interested in what ink you use with your stencil. And do you brush, spray or roll it on? Thanks!
SimpleStill Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 How about having a simple Branding iron made up with your logo/info. I have made quite a few and the cost is not too bad depending on how much detail is needed.
Dehner Distillery Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Get a stencil made out of stainless steel. Then use a small torch ( lp hand torch) and burn the inside of the stencil revealing your symbol. It is by far the easiest and cheapest thing you'll probably ever come across and it looks awesome.
