PeteB
I mentioned a few days ago that I would start a thread on this subject. Boilers, and more recently chillers, that burn waste oil are a very economical way to supply energy to a distillery. Really good if you don't have heavy duty electricity supply. I have 3 burners in my distillery that run on used fryer oil. They will run on almost any liquid that will burn including heads, motor oil, gear oil, and fat(with a pre heater tank) Here is a link to the first Google search that came up for USA http://www.econoheat.com/ Feel free to ask questions Pete

PeteB
Does it smell? There is no more odor than with a heating oil furnace as long as it is correctly set up. When running on waste fryer oil there is a very faint smell of deep fryer
