New craft distillery seeks an experienced distiller

New craft distillery seeks an experienced distiller to develop,

produce and manage all phases of spirits production.  

 

Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day distillery operations, including production and maintenance

    • TTB reporting and meticulous record keeping

    • Ability to represent the brand/distillery publicly, local events and tours 

    • Ability to formulate spirit recipes, maintain quality and repeatability 

    • Order and maintain supply inventory

    • Knowledge of mixology is a plus

 

Requirements:

    • Previous commercial/craft distilling experience in making high-quality craft spirits

    • Academic qualification in distilling, chemistry, biology, food science or microbiology is a plus

    • Innovative and enthusiastic

    • Well developed sensory in taste and evaluation of spirits

    • Highly organized and detail oriented

    • Trustworthy and loyal to brand/distillery

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Safety conscious
