The ones I have seen (around 100 gal) have a 2" drain port . I know new these things are tens of thousands of dollars so $6000 to $8000 seems reasonable if it works .
I am going to running a bain marie electric still and was thinking of getting an electric steam kettle for a mash tun. Has anyone used one like the listing below? Thoughts?

I will say that the StillDragon guys ROCK. They answer every email and phone call and are willing to try new things in addition to what they already offer ( which is a lot). If you price them out they are very reasonable and hit a segment that is not covered.

Do you filter the wash before putting it in the still? Or just do the best you can at getting most of the wash and as little of the sediment at the bottom of the FERM tank?
After you do a rum fermentation do you put everything in the still ( yeast and all)? It seems like as long as you do not have an electric element in contact with the wash it is ok (steam jacket-ok).
