Rattlesnakedistillers
Is anyone aware of a process to remove labels on used bottles in bulk? Would like to recycle all the bottles fromt he tasting room.... Sean
bluestar
Depends on the labels. Most of the permanent adhesive can't really be removed. If you use classic wine labels, like Estate 8, these are meant to be removed with hot water.

RobertS
PBW does wonders on more permanent adhesives. Some labels come off easier than others, but I believe a second round of soaking would deal with the tougher ones. Most are just a quick wipe. We're still a small operation, so I haven't needed to go terribly mass-scale yet.
