  1. I'm thinking the OP is not meaning he is going to offer one dollar off, but asking for input on what dollar amount others have done. If I'm incorrect, then a one dollar premium is a good deal for the distillery. In the past I've done $25 payments for new account placement.
  2. I'm sure most American cities have a traditional Sloveniatown, which is where your major market will be. In Missouri I guess the biggest ones would be Chicago, Albuquerque, and Des Moines. Mark-up will depend upon how heavy the bottles are, but probably in the neighborhood of 12 to 19 cents per ounce.
  3. Don't know about the rest of the world, but the US has an economic embargo against Iran.
  4. Well you could sell all of them. Or you could sell none of them. This is a ridiculous unanswerable question.
  5. Anyone ever hear anything about arak? I want to start making it but can't find any info anywhere. I've searched the forum and can't find anything. Please, for the love of god, someone post something about arak.
  6. I'm talking about selling tax paid undenatured alcohol for the non beverage uses I mentioned. I know the end user can file for a tax rebate. But can we ignore any beverage related bottle size requirements?
  7. The videos of some of the odd shaped bottles it can label are quite something. Also the instructional videos with the owner/engineer/designer sporting his groovy threads.
  8. If this is already on here please direct me where. What's the rules/requirements for selling for non beverage purposes? Like selling to a bitters maker, or to a perfumer, or essential oil producer, whatever, etc.? I thought I used to know this, but I'm drawing a blank.
  9. Check out the Benchmax. It is relatively expensive for a semi automatic, but it operates as smooth as (what I imagine) a Rolls Royce. It is far superior to the bottle-matic I used, and cursed at, for years. The bottle-matic is the reason I switched to a single label design from a front and back, it constantly fucked up.
  10. alibaba verified suppliers, paid through the alibaba site so your payment and merchandise is guaranteed: many different suppliers of these bottles there now. And the prices I quoted include air shipping. Oh, and they will even label the bottles for you, about a nickel a piece. The inflated pricing from US suppliers is a thing of the past, they got theirs and now the international market is fully available again. Unfortunately, most distilleries no longer need bottles for sanitizer anymore.
  11. Your prices are way too high now. These bottles are on the order of 30-50 cents delivered. good luck with your unfortunate overstock.
  12. My advice is to have this shitty distributor arrange transit of your product from their chosen freight forwarder in CA. If they're not offering this then they are somewhat shittier than most.
  13. Shrink wrap/film is how my bulk bottles arrive from Europe. Incredibly secure packaging. I just use stretch wrap on my finished pallets.
  14. The alcohol laws in the US are mind boggling.
  15. Glad to hear it. I'm stuck with stuff too, though I can probably move it out at cost.
  16. Unfortunate to be stuck with that, but don't know why anyone would buy when one can get bulk ethanol for less than half that and toss some bitrex in it.
  17. 2 months is a lifetime in the hurly burly world of hand sanitizer...
  18. I think the screw cap is an issue. A dispenser/spray cap might get you somewhere...
  19. The last thing I need is doubtful benefits, but thanks for caring.
  20. Considering there's 528 bottles in a carton, I think that's an obvious answer.
