  1. Here one of several panels I am building currently. It has full user control and full automation. I can build a control panel in any configuration for any setup. Just drop me a line and I'll be glad to help. I will be selling pre-wired boxes on the web site very soon. For example 2 & 3 element control panels with full automation, and automatic dephlegmater controller.

Questions please drop me a line at help@redbootstills.com or call anytime 515-559-4879

  2. I'm going to make a rum complete with bottle cap and package for less than 1.70 and still make a good portion of money off of it. So every penny counts.

I'm going to go toe to toe with Paramount distillers here in Iowa.

  3. I would always like to get a cheaper bottle but it's the shipping cost it kills me. The bottle cost me $.69 apiece but to get one pallet shipped his little over $700. So it almost doubles the price of the bottle. I have just found a way to get the price down to $.72 apiece with shipping.

    Arkansas glass.

  4. If you need help with your still I will be more than glad to help you in your design. It sounds to me like right off the bat your column is way too small for 250 gallons. In my professional opinion it doesn't sound like you need any automation or special controls it sounds like you need to size everything correctly.

  6. This is a still I delivered today to Du Nord craft spirits in Minneapolis, MN. Chris and Shanelle are a joy to work with! They will be up and running very soon.

It is 13' tall, 156 gallon cap, 5 ele elements (controller) not shown, 8 " main port with several other for expansion, gin basket, 20 plate column, dephlegmator, batch pre-warmer, condenser, parrot, and work station.

All hand made by my very own Red Boot Still company right here in Iowa.

Before the end of December I will be delivering a continuous still that will process 2-3 gpm. So look for updates.

Look for updates to the website very soon.

    Take care!

  8. Thank you!

I just type the stuff in, I didn't see where to hype link. Maybe because I'm doing this on my phone.

Just a heads up.. The forum has an option to turn a URL posted into an actual hyper-link that people are then able to click on. If your going to post your URL on every single thread on the forum you should consider using this option to make it easier for people to access your site. Here, ill do it for you:

  9. Steam would be the best. But since you can't do that, Oil bath would be the best. Direct fire underneath the kettle would be second best. Immersion elements are going to probably burn your batch.

I have very great results with the cold cook method.

I have a cnc plasma and cut out anything you would like. it is on a 5x10 bed. it has to be out of anything that conducts electricity like steel, stainless, copper, alum, brass.

Just and idea but I could cut out your logo and then you could use a blow torch to burn your logo in to your wooden barrels.
