  1. Leaving the floor "Raw" or "treated/sealed" depends on the local health codes. We will have to coat the "cooking" area in epoxy or another washable surface. Research local codes before you make any decisions
  2. I know they had scheduled outages (3/23 was the last listed outage). The PONL site didn't open in Chrome, try switching browsers.
  3. I hope it's a glamor shot!
  4. It also made me wish German's never came and introduced beer. Nothing against German's but until then everyone drank the hard stuff!!!
  5. Hi All, I realize that most of us wear many hats in a small operation but curious if some of the larger operations would mind sharing the salary they pay their lead distiller? If you are willing please respond with the salary range. A. $50-$70k B. $70-$90k C. $90k + D. What the hell is a salary!
  6. Yeah, I looked back at the original post and saw 500 Gallons. Definitely won't scale.
  7. Order some flexible copper and make a coil cooling tube yourself. You can hook it up to the hose and pump the cold water through the mash. Your hardware store should have everything you need except for the flexible copper tubing depending on the gage you want.
  8. PM me your email, the forum won't allow me to message you either.

  9. 2 states sounds like a lot of work, the 60,000 gallons sounds much more appealing than the 5,000 gallons.
  10. SOunds like a great experiment, Micro's are selling for that price I don't think BT will have a hard time selling out that inventory.
  11. You could take an educated guess of average proof gallons produced by micros and back a number out of the DISCUS article listed above.
  12. I wonder if this ruling has been sent out to the producers that have added caffeine to their vodka brands. The FDA seems to single out malt beverages with added caffeine. Will brands like P.I.N.K. and 3AM have to stop producing their vodka as well?
