Military expert Oleg Zhdanov explained why the Ukrainian air defense system does not shoot down all Iranian kamikaze drones.

Relatives of mobilized servicemen prepared an appeal to the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation about significant losses and the inaction of the military command. Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces have repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Ozaryanivka, Kamianka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske settlements.
Aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 24 strikes during the past day. Damage to 20 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as 4 anti-aircraft missile systems of the enemy, was confirmed. In addition, Ukrainian air defense units shot down 1 Su-25 enemy aircraft, 3 UAVs and 3 Kh-59 guided air missiles in the previous day.

The two hundred and thirtieth day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation to the large-scale Russian invasion has begun.
Without success, the enemy launches missile strikes and actively uses attack UAVs to damage critical infrastructure and densely populated cities of our country. The enemy is not able to stop the successful counteroffensive of the Defense Forces in the Kharkiv and Kherson directions, so it is trying to intimidate and sow panic among the population of Ukraine.
Mobilization and transfer of reserves by the enemy also do not provide an opportunity to overcome the resistance of the defenders of our country.
During the previous day, the occupiers launched more than 61 rocket and 32 air strikes, carried out about 92 attacks from rocket salvo systems.
73 air targets were destroyed by air defense units in various directions, including 46 cruise missiles and 27 unmanned aerial vehicles.
As a result of a massive missile attack, the infrastructure of more than 30 settlements was damaged in the past day. These are, in particular, Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Pryluky, Nizhyn, Konotop, Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa. Civilian citizens of Ukraine were killed and wounded.
The threat of the enemy launching missile strikes on critical infrastructure and peaceful neighborhoods remains.
Also, the occupiers do not stop trying to hold the temporarily captured territories, shell the positions of our troops, focus their efforts on trying to disrupt the counter-offensive actions of the units of the Defense Forces, and try to conduct offensive actions in separate directions.
The situation in the Volyn and Poliske directions has not changed significantly. According to available information, the leadership of the Republic of Belarus continues to support the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine, giving the Russian Federation the opportunity to use the airspace and airfield network to carry out airstrikes on the territory of Ukraine. In the indicated areas, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine are monitoring the situation, there are no signs of the formation of offensive groups on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and the movement of troops, as of 06:00 on October 11 of the current year.
The enemy fired in other directions:
in the Siverskyi direction - from mortars, barrel and jet artillery, in the areas of Yanzhulivka, Tymonovichi, Mykhalchyna Sloboda of Chernihiv region and Bilopillia and Myropillia of Sumy region;
in the Slobozhansk direction - from artillery and tanks, in the areas of the settlements of Ivashki, Strelecha, Hurivka, Kamianka, Dvorichna, Stelmakhivka, Borshcheva, Sotnytskyi Kozachok, Gur'iv Kozachok, Kozacha Lopan, Vilkhuvatka and Chugunivka;
in the Kramatorsk direction - from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, along the entire line of contact. In particular, in the areas of the settlements of Bilogorivka, Grekivka, Novoyegorivka, Raihorodok, Pershotravneve, Novolyubivka, Makiivka, Nove, Zarichne, Terny, Serebryanka and Grigorivka;
in the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy inflicted fire damage in the areas of settlements of Siversk, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Mayorsk, Kurdyumivka, New York, Krasna Gora, Chasiv Yar, Yakovlivka, Zelenopillia and Odradivka.
The enemy did not carry out offensive operations in the Avdiyiv, Novopavliv, and Zaporizhzhya directions. Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodyane, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Vugledar, Nevelske, Zaliznychne, Biloghirya, Vremivka, Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Shcherbaki, Novopil, Novomykolaivka, Gulyaipilske, Doronka were shelled by tanks, mortars, barrel and jet artillery. In the Southern Buzka direction, the enemy intensified shelling from tanks and artillery of various types. Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Mayorsk, Soledar and Pervomaiske.
The enemy continues to suffer losses. So, on October 9 of this year, in the area of Bilozerka, Kherson region, our soldiers destroyed about 15 units of enemy military equipment. On October 10, in the area of Beryslav settlement, a hangar with military equipment of the enemy was hit, the losses are being clarified.
The aggressors recommend to teachers of universities in Kherson who cooperate with the occupation authorities to move to the territory of Crimea. It is also known that in the event of a "complication" of the situation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Ukrainian Crimea, the occupying authorities have plans to evacuate the families of representatives of the leadership of the security forces serving in the said territory.

In the city of Starobilsk, Luhansk region, the occupiers are searching for Ukrainian patriots, detaining family members and friends of military personnel, as well as law enforcement officers.
In addition, according to available information, in the Luhansk region, under the guise of searching for Ukrainian saboteurs, the invaders are looking for their deserters.
Aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 6 strikes during the past 24 hours. It has been confirmed that 4 places of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as 2 enemy anti-aircraft missile systems, have been destroyed. In addition, air defense units destroyed an enemy Su-25 aircraft.
Over the previous day, missile forces and artillery hit the command post, four areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, one S-300 anti-aircraft missile system of the enemy and one warehouse with ammunition.

The enemy is trying to hold the temporarily captured territories, is concentrating its efforts on trying to stop the counter-offensive actions of the Defense Forces in separate directions and attempts of offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions.
The enemy continues shelling the positions of our troops along the contact line, carries out remote mining of the territory in certain areas and conducts aerial reconnaissance. Attacks civilian infrastructure and civilian homes, violating international humanitarian law, laws and customs of war. Thus, during the past day, the occupiers launched one ballistic and twenty-eight cruise missiles, twenty of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defense units.
The enemy carried out thirteen airstrikes and launched more than forty attacks from rocket salvo systems. Objects and civilian population of more than forty settlements were affected by these criminal actions. Among them are Lviv, Popivka, Chugunivka, Ladyzhyn, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Pavlograd and Nikopol. Also, the enemy used fourteen Iranian kamikaze drones to attack critical infrastructure in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, twelve of these UAVs were destroyed.
There remains the threat of air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine.

Lukashenko declares the readiness of the Republic of Belarus to provide assistance to the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine. The defense-industrial complex of Belarus is already involved in the repair of Russian equipment damaged during hostilities. In addition, the first batch of twenty T-72 tanks was removed from storage and sent to the Belgorod region.
In other directions, the enemy fired mortars, tanks, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of populated areas:
in the Seversky direction - Senkivka of Chernihiv region and Seredyna-Buda, Novovasylivka and Sorokyne of Sumy region;

In the South Buzka direction, the enemy continues shelling the positions of our units to deter the counterattack along the entire contact line. Areas of more than twenty settlements were affected by fire. In particular, Velike Artakove, Davidiv Brid, Blagodativka, Sukhy Stavok, Shiroke, Ternovi Pody, Soldatske, Pravdyne and Myrne.
According to available information, the occupiers in the Kherson region continue to raid agricultural enterprises, conduct an inventory of assets there and re-register them under Russian legislation.
Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of Mykolaivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Pervomaiske and Krasnohorivka.
As a result of the successful actions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and due to the large number of wounded, there is a shortage of medical workers in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region. In order to replenish the staff of hospitals, the self-proclaimed leadership of the region sent a request for the secondment of medical personnel from the central and eastern regions of the Russian Federation.
The Ukrainian aviation carried out fifteen strikes during the day. Thirteen areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as two enemy air defense systems, have been damaged.
Over the past day, missile forces and artillery have hit twelve control points, seventeen areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, four ammunition warehouses, as well as more than twenty other important enemy facilities.
