Thanks jocko!

All of us here, in Ukraine, really hope that this horror will end...

I recently went to the suburbs of Kiva, where there were battles ...

Now they are restoring part of what was destroyed, but it's scary to see what the Russians are turning my country into ...

It's been a year since the full-scale invasion began. A year in which we lost, but rose.
We learned to be warriors by our own spirit - thousands of civilians decided to join the ranks of the Armed Forces. A considerable part became military doctors - brothers and sisters.
With the beginning of the large-scale attack of the Russian Federation, the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces managed to organize 🚑ground and 🚁air evacuation, thereby reducing the level of primary amputations and losses in general; organize high-quality medical care along the entire contact line; joint efforts with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to create a Unified Medical Space; establish cooperation with international partners for the high-quality rehabilitation of our servicemen abroad.
Our doctors have proven that they are capable of performing unique operations, extracting combat parts of shells, saving the lives of soldiers; perform laparoscopic operations in field hospitals; after all, to carry out activities in the complete environment of the enemy.
It would seem that a year is only 12 months.
However, this is a long 365 days of responsibility, continuous struggle with faith in our Victory.
We thank everyone who paves this way in the ranks of the medical front.
We are sure that the next year will be a victory for our people and the entire civilized world.
Together we are invincible!
Glory to Ukraine!

The basis of our stability is PEOPLE, - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine / CinC AF of Ukraine General Valery Zaluzhny, - Ordinary people. Ordinary Heroes. Among us In line with us.

These are people who took up arms to protect their relatives, their homes and their state from the enemy's unprovoked and unjustified aggression. These are the people who are now, at this moment, beating the occupier, holding their positions, freezing in the cold but native land, saving the lives of their brothers, helping the army with everything that can be helped.
During the nine years of the war, we became stronger than concrete and steel, because we remember the examples of indomitability of the defenders of DAP and Azovstal.
Thank you, Ukrainians! Respect and deep gratitude to all who serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces and other components of the defense forces of Ukraine. To everyone who helps, supports, believes - an earthly bow. Eternal memory and honor to all those who died for freedom.
We will endure. And WE WILL WIN!

Statement by the Members of the European Council

One year ago, Putin’s Russia started its brutal war of aggression against Ukraine.

The Ukrainian people have shown incredible strength in defending their homeland and the core principles of international law against the Russian aggression. They have shown resolve in defending democracy and freedom, resilience in the face of hardship and dignity when confronted with Russia’s crimes.

The Ukrainian people have shown the world that the future of Ukraine is for the Ukrainians to decide. No country has the right to invade its neighbour or violate its sovereignty and territorial integrity. This aggression is a crime against peace. It violates the UN Charter, the UN principles and the values of mankind. We cannot and should not remain passive in front of such crimes.

Russia has systematically targeted civilians, destroyed cities and attacked Ukrainian identity. We are determined to ensure that all those who are responsible for war crimes and other most serious crimes committed in connection with Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine are held to account.

Russia has weaponised food and energy, made deeply irresponsible nuclear threats and spread false narratives about the war. Russia’s war of aggression and its consequences have significantly affected many countries notably through its impact on the global economy, food and commodity prices. The European Union will continue to work with partners to mitigate these effects and to provide assistance to the countries and people most in need.

NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, delivered a message of solidarity to the Ukrainian people today, Friday (24 February 2023), one year since Russia launched its illegal full-fledged invasion of Ukraine.
"A year ago, President Putin ordered the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
To take control of your country. And take away your freedom.
He expected to take Kyiv in a few days. And to control Ukraine in a few weeks.
But he totally underestimated your courage, your strength and your love for your country.
And he totally underestimated the resolve of NATO Allies to stand united, and to provide unprecedented support to Ukraine.
NATO has supported Ukraine since you regained your independence.
We stepped up after Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea.
And today we are doing more than ever.
To help you uphold your right to self-defence, a right enshrined in the United Nations Charter.
NATO Allies are providing large-scale, financial and humanitarian aid.
And military aid.
From air-defence systems and artillery to anti-tank missiles and ammunition.
And Allies will soon deliver modern main battle tanks.
One year since Putin’s invasion, my message is clear.
Russia must immediately stop this war and withdraw from Ukraine.
All those responsible for war crimes must be held accountable.
NATO will stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes.
We stand by your right to choose your own path.
As a proud, sovereign and independent nation in Europe.
This war has taken the lives of many of your loved ones.
It has destroyed many homes, schools and hospitals.
It has left many wounds – visible and invisible.
But it will never destroy the spirit of the Ukrainian nation.
A brave nation which has inspired the whole world.
I wish you strength.
I wish you success.
And I wish you victory."

The #NATO Invitees associate themselves with this Statement
1⃣ As we solemnly mark one year of Russia’s brutal war of aggression against Ukraine, the gravest threat to Euro-Atlantic security in decades, we as Allies reaffirm our solidarity with the government and people of Ukraine in the heroic defence of their nation, their land, and our shared values. We pay tribute to the lives lost, and we deplore the tragic human suffering and destruction, including of Ukraine’s residential areas and civilian and energy infrastructure, caused by Russia’s illegal war.
2⃣ We are further stepping up political and practical support to Ukraine as it defends itself against Russia’s invasion, and will maintain our support for as long as necessary to help Ukraine prevail. In this context, NATO will continue to coordinate closely with relevant stakeholders, including international organisations, in particular the EU, as well as like-minded countries. We remain resolute in supporting Ukraine’s long-term efforts to secure its free and democratic future. We reaffirm our unwavering support for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders. We fully support Ukraine’s inherent right to self-defence and to choose its own security arrangements.
3⃣ Russia bears full responsibility for this war, a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter. Russia’s actions disregard OSCE principles and commitments and gravely undermine international security and stability and the rules-based international order. While we have called on Russia to engage constructively in credible negotiations with Ukraine, Russia has not shown any genuine openness to a just and lasting peace. We remain determined to maintain coordinated international pressure on Russia. We also condemn all those, including Belarus, who are actively facilitating Russia’s war. There can be no impunity for Russian war crimes and other atrocities. All those responsible must be held accountable for abuses and violations of human rights and international humanitarian law, particularly against Ukraine’s civilian population and including the deportation of children and conflict-related sexual violence. Russia must immediately stop this war and withdraw all of its military forces from Ukraine in line with the UN General Assembly Resolution adopted on 23 February 2023 and other relevant Resolutions of the UN General Assembly.
4⃣ Russia’s war also threatens global security. Russia’s energy blackmail, its impact on global food supplies, its malign hybrid activities, its worldwide disinformation campaign, and its irresponsible nuclear rhetoric demonstrate clearly Russia’s disregard for international norms and the welfare of billions of people around the world.
5⃣ We will continue to strive for peace, security, and stability in the whole of the Euro-Atlantic area. NATO is a defensive Alliance. We are significantly strengthening our deterrence and defence posture, and we remain ready to defend every inch of Allied territory in line with our 360-degree approach against all threats and challenges. Our commitment to the Washington Treaty, including Article 5, is iron-clad. NATO is stronger and more united than ever. We have welcomed the choice of Finland and Sweden to become members of NATO and reaffirmed our commitment to NATO’s Open Door policy. We will continue to strengthen our partnership with Ukraine as it advances its Euro-Atlantic aspirations. We are also further strengthening our other partnerships, including by assisting those countries most exposed to Russia’s malign influence.
6⃣ Russia’s efforts to break the resolve of the brave people of Ukraine are failing. One year on, Ukrainians are fighting valiantly for freedom and independence. We stand with them.

/ #AFU are grateful for the support and help.
V Corps and NATO allies will execute a multinational command post exercise using computer aided simulation technology across three nations to exercise integrated command and control functions through a realistic tactical scenario against a realistic threat that runs through the first week of March.
The command post exercise includes contributions from the United States, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, United Kingdom, and Romania. The exercise will involve personnel at the main command post at Fort Knox, Kentucky; V Corps forward command post at Poznan, Poland; and Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany with simulation support provided by 7th Army Training Command’s Joint Multinational Simulation Center.
The exercise is specifically designed to train and evaluate V Corps as the primary training audience with 41st Field Artillery Brigade, 2d Cavalry Regiment, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade and NATO allies into an overall integrated response to a crisis or contingency operation. This exercise enables exercising rapid decision making, validation of operating procedures, and synchronization of the staff across a geographically distributed construct between the U.S. and Europe.
Allied Spirit is the first of many command post exercises that V Corps has planned for the year, and will provide an accurate assessment on how the corps plans and fights in a complex operational environment. It will prepare the corps to fight and win in multi-domain large scale ground combat in a multinational environment, and build capacity as an interoperable force.
V Corps, dual headquartered in Fort Knox and Poznan, Poland, works alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces; executes joint, bilateral and multinational training exercises; and provides command and control for rotational and assigned units in the European theater while building local community relationships.

Today there was an appeal to the courts in the case of Kobolev.
In the first instance, the court ruled that there was no crime itself and denied the prosecution everything.
In the second instance, the court decided to send Kobolev under arrest with a bail of 229 million hryvnias (his accounts were seized by the prosecutor's office).
It may seem that this story is about Kobolev.
But in general, at the same time as Kobolev, Pivovarsky's case arrived. Also sucked from the finger. For the decision, thanks to which the port industry in our country has developed in general. Now Nefiodov will be imprisoned for Prozorro. Smilyansky for Ukrposhta. All in the dust.
And then, of course, suspicion, a bail of one hundred thousand dostobis and a term will come to all others from the generation of "sorozyats".
Because there is nothing.
When I say "this is the message", I mean that this is the decision and the event that will cost us everything. It should not be measured in money, but in years. Stolen in Ukraine for years.
Naftogaz has always, from the day of its foundation, been unprofitable and has always lost to Gazprom. Then, during Kobolev's tenure, he was profitable and winning at Gazprom. Then Kobolev's tenure ended and Naftogaz went bankrupt again.
So which of the heads of Naftogaz does Ukraine as a state put in prison? It is here that he is planted alone.
This is a signal to every person who suddenly hopes to enter the public service and make a difference.
Either you will not succeed, or you will sit down. Ukraine does not need the Kobolevs. Ukraine needs Boyko and Firtashi. Ukraine needs managers with a salary of six thousand hryvnias( = $162 USD). They can steal everything from us. You can steal everything from us. We will not let you earn from us.
Therefore, no educated person with common sense will come to the state administration again. On cymbals, which progressive, honest and democratic government will call him. The government will change, seven years will pass and you will be imprisoned. And it will change, it always changes.
Steal and run. Don't be like Kobolev. Be like Kyrylo Shevchenko.
This logic, obvious to any reasonable person, is worth more to us as a country than any money. She is worth us years.

(c)Alex Noinets, fighter of the Armed Forces, co-founder of the Democratic Ax

Russia pre-planned and funded torture centers in Ukraine - CNN

In prisons, first of all, people were related to Ukrainian state bodies or civil society - activists, journalists, civil servants and teachers.

The Kherson detention center was part of a network of at least 20 institutions that Ukrainian and international lawyers say were part of a deliberate Russian strategy to destroy Ukrainian identity.

"These detention centers are interconnected, they behave in a very similar, if not identical way," Wayne Jordash, head of the Mobile Justice Team, a team of international investigators supporting Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office, told CNN.

The investigation revealed that Russian troops followed a very specific plan in several occupied areas, with clear patterns pointing to a comprehensive plan for Moscow's occupation of Ukraine.

"The first stage, in fact, is to detain and, in many cases, kill a category of people called "leaders", that is, those who could physically resist the occupation, but also those who could resist it culturally," said Jordash .

In prisons, first of all, people were related to Ukrainian state bodies or civil society - activists, journalists, civil servants and teachers.

"The second stage is a kind of filtering process, in which the population remaining outside the detention centers is subjected to constant monitoring and filtering, so that anyone who is suspected of having links with the "leaders" or was involved in organizing any kind of resistance, also then they were identified and either deported to Russia or kept in isolation and tortured," he said.

Dzhordash said that these methods were used not only in Kherson, but also in other areas occupied by Russian troops, such as the Kyiv suburbs of Bucha and Borodyanka. However, he added, the long occupation of Kherson allowed the Russian troops to go even further.

Ukrainian and international investigators also said they found financial links to these detention centers with the Russian state.

"These detention centers have financial ties to the Russian state. These financial documents show that the civil administration is funded from Russia, and the civil administration finances the detention centers, so you have very clear patterns and very clear connections," said Jordash , referring to documents discovered by investigators.

During the occupation of the Kyiv region, more than 700 civilians were killed using small arms. As Andriy Nebitov, head of the Kyiv region police, said in an interview with TSN, almost 3.5 hundred people also died as a result of mine-explosive injuries.

The total number of bodies of civilians found in the Kiev region reached 1373 - they died during the hostilities of the Russian Federation in the region. 197 of them have not yet been identified.

“I emphasize that the dead are civilians, most of them, more than 700, were killed from small arms. missing during active hostilities," Nebitov said.

The bodies of the dead continue to be found to this day. On March 2, three more civilians were found dead in Borodianka. They were found during the occupation by one of the residents. He buried two people shot by the Russians and the charred remains of a third at the local cemetery. Only recently returned from abroad and was able to report the mass grave to the police.

“Besides, this year, two weeks ago, a body was found in the village of Moshchun. a consequence of the fact that they behave like animals. In Russia, as in the Third Reich, a special psychological operation was carried out aimed at hatred not only for Ukrainians, but for the entire civilized world," Nebitov added.

In Bucha, people were hidden by a communal worker. Local eyewitnesses also spoke about how other people were tortured during the occupation. There were also very cruel ways.

“Five people were shot in the back of the head in the basement. Traces of torture were found on the bodies. We understand that after the torture they were simply shot dead.

The bodies of seven people were also found. One of them is an employee of the Academy of the SBU. An eyewitness of these events said that people were brought and tortured. This employee, who had a crack in his skull, was also bullied. A wooden stake was inserted into this crack and loosened to cause even more pain. Another person had a car cable around his neck - she was strangled. It is also known about the fact of shooting a car in which there was a one and a half year old child," Nebitov said.

At the moment, it is known about the death of 38 children in the Kyiv region during active hostilities. In addition, Nebitov said that a total of 14 mass graves of civilians were found. One of them is a mass grave in Bucha, where 116 bodies were found.

On March 2, the long-awaited Ukrainian animated film "Mavka. The Forest Song" was finally released in Ukrainian distribution, the creation of which took almost 200 million hryvnias (5 million $) and eight years of painstaking work.

The cartoon "Mavka. Forest Song" is based on the extravaganza-drama by Lesya Ukrainka "Forest Song" with the addition of other plots of Ukrainian folklore.
However, there is not much left of the original tragic plot from the work of Lesya Ukrainka in the cartoon, and we advise you to be prepared for this. Yes, a considerable number of characters from the "Forest Song" have been preserved here, but many have noticeably changed characters and destinies.

The other day, on the initiative of the AZfront telegram channel, an unprecedented action of united democratic forces began in the Iranian region of South Azerbaijan. The movement of eight youth organizations was a serious step towards destabilization within Iran. For the first time, the youth of the region acted as a united front and, literally under the noses of the representatives of the Iranian authorities and law enforcement officers, posted postcards calling for the independence of the region. It is reported by "Telegraph".

Numerous postcards appeared on the campus of the University of Tebrizh and in the surrounding areas calling for the independence of South Azerbaijan. Eight organizations: National Liberation Front of South Azerbaijan; Azerbaijan State Resistance Organization; Azerbaijan student movement; South Azerbaijan Independence Party; Democratic Turkic Union of South Azerbaijan; Democratic Party of South Azerbaijan; The Liberal Democratic Party of South Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Center Party took part in the independence action.

This is an outstanding challenge to the Iranian authorities. After all, despite the real hunting of the paramilitary group "Basij" and employees of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for participants in the movement, not a single participant in the action was caught or even noticed by the authorities.

Such political activity in Iran, of course, coincides with the foreign policy interests of Ukraine, since Iran is the main military partner of Putin's Russia and an important donor of weapons and equipment for its army.

It should be noted that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at a meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Cohen on February 16 in Kyiv said that both countries have a common enemy - Iran. The parties agreed to deepen cooperation in the fight against Iran in the international arena. Actually, Iran has a long history of unfriendly policy towards Ukraine, which began with the downing of a commercial UIA Boeing 737 aircraft over Tehran on January 8, 2020 by an Iranian missile. Then 176 people died.

The resistance of representatives of the Iranian authorities is quite natural. After all, the possible acquisition of independence by South Azerbaijan with its capital in Tabriz can lead to the disintegration of Iran as a state. Branches of the region with 30 million ethnic Azerbaijanis, who make up approximately 20% of the total population of the country, if not destroyed, then significantly weaken Iran.
