Out of curiosity.
(figures from official reports)
1. In the period from April 28 to May 29, Russia launched 198 missiles at us (excluding anti-aircraft, anti-radar ...).
Of these, 177 were intercepted (almost 89.4%).
Including:
• X-101/555: 137/126
• Caliber: 31/28
• Iskander-M/K: 18/16
• X-47M2 ("Dagger"): 7/7
• X-22: 5/0
From which it follows that, in the sum of the circumstances today:
1) analogue missiles "Dagger" - expensive useless slag (there are few of them, piece production, targets suitable for the status are already protected, and exchanging for other purposes is squandering). That is, the product seems to be very good, but an antidote has already been tested that nullifies all the advantages in real conditions;
2) Caliber missiles are also a big question (3 missiles were missed in one day, the reasons are being clarified, on the remaining days - 100% interceptions). When the means / opportunities appear to finish off the carriers in the Black Sea, this component will by and large fall out.
3) The Iskanders are sad. This is a formidable weapon. But non-massive. And with this ratio - does not provide a fracture. The story is about the same as with the "Dagger". Suitable targets are mostly protected. You can shell a residential building in regions where there is no adequate protection yet.
4) Aircraft missiles will pose a threat with an efficiency of 10%. Treatment - increasing the density of air defense. It is difficult to reach the carriers.
5) Ancient as a mammoth, the X-22 rocket is a very difficult target, but can only be used as an element of terror due to low accuracy. The situations with the most civilian casualties are X-22.
That is, we have such a trend.
Russian missiles, which only a year ago provided total superiority as a means of waging an intense war-war, are gradually reduced to the level of a terrorist threat.
So far, this is not much easier for us, people are dying. But the prospect, to the horror of the Russians, is obvious: when there will be not 1.5, but 10 patriots, 8 nasams and about the same number of irises (which is real and work is underway), they will have to shell Voronezh to attract attention.
The main trouble for us will remain the S-300/400. Because there are many, thousands. They can fire at targets for which the "Dagger" is a pity. Albeit not to the entire depth of Ukraine, but these are our cities and our people. The search for a healing pill against this affliction is in progress. The answer will be compound - both the means of intercepting missiles and the means of destroying launchers (of which there are hundreds).
2. From May 1 to May 30, the Russians launched 413 Iranian shaheeds at us. Intercepted 377 (91.2%).
This is a relatively cheap and quickly adapting infection in terms of technical characteristics and tactics of use.
It is kamikaze/loitering munitions drones, along with S-300/400 missiles, that will pose a massive threat to both the troops and the civilian population in a large part of Ukraine.
Well, long-range MLRS. However, there are more restrictions and less territory.
Specially trained people think about it.

Mr Stoltenberg noted that all Allies agree that Ukraine will become a member of the Alliance, and that “it’s not for Moscow to have a veto against NATO enlargement.” He added: “most importantly, all Allies agree that the most urgent and important task now is to ensure that Ukraine prevails as a sovereign independent nation.” He further said: “we need to ensure that history doesn't repeat itself, that this pattern of Russian aggression against Ukraine really stops. And therefore, we need to have in place frameworks to provide guarantees for Ukrainian security after the end of the war”.
Arriving at Oslo City Hall to chair a meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers on Thursday (1 June 2023), Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Allies would discuss preparations for the Vilnius Summit, not least “how to step up and sustain our support for Ukraine”.
In Oslo, Allies will also discuss bolstering deterrence and defence, building on NATO’s major adaptation since 2014. This also requires increased defence spending. The Secretary General said he expects that when Allied leaders meet in Vilnius, 2% of GDP for defence will become a floor, rather than a ceiling, for Allies’ obligations. Allies will also address how to further deepen NATO’s partnership with Indo-Pacific partners (Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and South Korea) and reiterate their strong support for Sweden’s accession to NATO.

All 10 were destroyed by the air defense forces and means of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: seven Iskander-M ballistic missiles and three Iskander-K cruise missiles.

This is a project created in 2016. A special robot was programmed to try to hold onto the hydraulic fluid that constantly leaked out of it and was needed to keep it running. According to the program, the robot had to drive her back to him in order to continue to exist.
The worst thing is that the programmers gave the robot the opportunity to perform "dances of happiness" in front of the audience in their free time. The artists "taught" the robot to perform 32 different movements, giving it a strange, mesmerizing human grace. When the project was first launched, the robot danced around, spending most of its time talking to the crowd as it could quickly clean up a small leak.
The robot itself is in a glass box, which resembles a huge animal in a cage. Years later, he began to look tired and hopeless, as there was no more time for dancing. The floor is smeared with blood, the glass walls of the cube are covered in blood. There was only time to try to save his life, as the amount of leaked hydraulic fluid became unmanageable.
The last days of his life, the robot lived in an endless cycle of struggle between the maintenance of life and the simultaneous outflow of blood. Figuratively and literally, as the hydraulic fluid was specifically made to look like real blood.
While the robot was dying, people made thousands of videos, capturing death on the frames. The robot was dying in public and millions of people watched his death. In 2019, the robot ran out of hydraulic fluid, slowly came to a halt and died. People sobbed. The robot was programmed for such a fate, and no matter what he did and no matter how hard he tried, he could not survive. This work was titled "I Can't Help Myself".

On February 24, Russia launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities,

conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages.

I am in the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kyiv.
I do not leave the city, I follow what is happening here, reassure my family and friends, explain the situation and follow the press reports.

A lot of panic messages, a lot of fake news from Russian propaganda.
I select only the information that has confirmation.
As a former military man (in the distant past), I have a good understanding of how hostilities are conducted and what weapons are used.

I will answer all your questions.

Since February 24, Russia has attacked Ukraine, many cities of Ukraine have been destroyed.

Because of the war, I lost my business in Ukraine, if you want to help me and my family, my Paypal is: Alex.Sor.2022@gmail.com

Undermining the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station by Russian troops may have negative consequences for the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZAES), but the situation is under control, Energoatom said.

"On the night of June 6, 2023, the Russian invaders blew up the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. As a result of the explosion, the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir is rapidly decreasing, which is an additional threat to the temporarily occupied Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. ZNPP security systems. Now the station cooling pond is full: as of 08:00 in the morning, the water level is 16.6 meters, and this is enough for the station's needs," the report says.

Russian invaders blew up the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, which is located from Kherson upstream of the Dnieper. And, almost immediately, they began to blame Ukraine for what had happened. Say, as a result of shelling, the dam collapsed. But, here's the problem, they themselves laid out the moment of the explosion.

Judging by the frames that appeared on the network, the dam received critical damage and is no longer able to hold back the flow of water. As you can clearly see in the video, an uncontrolled discharge of water from the Kakhovka reservoir began, which is fraught with serious flooding downstream of the Dnieper.

Alas, in a perverted sense of expediency for the Russians, this is acceptable. It is enough to remember history.

1941 - in order to prevent the breakthrough of the Wehrmacht, the DneproGES was blown up. The result is tens of thousands of civilian casualties. And the Wehrmacht? And they stood on the right, high, bank of the Dnieper. That is, the Kremlin's logic is to kill its own people in order to delay the enemy. A few months later, in November 1941, they did the same - they blew up the dam of the Istra reservoir, flooding a significant part of the Moscow region. And again, spit on civilians.

Today - the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. Against the background of talk about the offensive of Ukraine. And again we have a situation where the Armed Forces of Ukraine are on the right, high, bank of the Dnieper.

Unfortunately, the wave height is such that part of Kherson will still be flooded. On the left bank the situation is much worse - large areas will be flooded. People? The Ukrainian side raised the alarm of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the DSNS - the evacuation is already underway. Russians? They will pretend that this is launched closer to dinner.

Nothing new. In the traditions of the Kremlin to multiply the corpses.

However, it is important to understand that in 2023 there are differences. The logic of the Kremlin, among other things, will be in the demand (in fact, this is the right word) for a truce. For example, to "save people" on the left bank. And also (but this track will appear in the late afternoon) against the backdrop of nuclear blackmail. Undermining the dam means the fall of water in the Kakhovka reservoir. And, therefore, a drop in the water level in the coolers of the Zaporozhye NPP. This is what Moscow will put pressure on, repeating its nuclear blackmail.

For Putin, "freezing" under any sauce is now extremely important. Alas, it can be expected that some of Ukraine's partners will at least consider this possibility and try to put pressure on Kyiv.

At the same time, it is worth remembering the Russians' favorite phrase when it comes to war - "we can repeat it." It has been hammered into the subconscious since childhood. So if you stop, they will repeat. So, for the sake of security, the only possible course of action is to offer the occupier three options: the occupier runs home, the occupier surrenders, the dead occupier fertilizes the land.

"We are sitting on trees, barely holding on": the invaders are drowning due to the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station

One of the audio interceptions indicates that the Russians did not plan such a scale of undermining.

Undermining the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station also hit the units of the Russian invaders, who were based in the flood zones.

"We are sitting on the trees, barely holding on," one of the invaders shouts over the radio and asks to take measures to save them.

As the blogger notes, this is another proof that the scale of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric dam was unplanned.

Eight settlements and part of Kherson have already been flooded on the Right Bank of the Dnieper

Currently, about 16 thousand people are in the critical zone there.

This was announced on the air of the telethon by the chairman of the Kherson regional state administration Alexander Prokudin.

We understand that others will be flooded settlements ready for this," he said.

Now organized the evacuation of residents of these settlements.

"It will be buses to the city of Kherson, then to the city of Nikolaev, and from there - to Khmelnitsky, Odessa, Kropyvnytskyi, Kiev and other cities. At 12:00 at the railway station of the city of Kherson there will be an evacuation train, also to the city of Nikolaev. 16,000 people ended up in a critical zone on the right bank of the Dnieper," Prokudin said.

As for the occupied part of the Kherson region, according to the head of the OVA, local residents were informed about the explosion of the hydroelectric dam, and they were also informed of the need to evacuate to safer places.

Recall that at night the enemy troops went on a terrible ecological act of terrorism - they blew up the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, which is located just above the city of Kherson along the Dnieper.

According to preliminary data, the object received critical damage. The southern territories of Ukraine may be left without electricity and water. There is a high possibility of flooding. In the Kherson OVA they say that the water level will become critical within five hours due to the explosion of the dam. People were warned about urgent evacuation to other regions of Ukraine.

In connection with the disaster, President Zelensky urgently convened the NSDC council. According to the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, there is a threat to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

The European Commission extended the ban on food imports from Ukraine

The ban has been extended until September 15 this year.

The European Union has decided to extend the ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine until September 15, 2023.   😔

This is stated in a message on the official website of the European Commission. We are talking about the import of wheat, corn, rapeseed and sunflower seeds from Ukraine. It is noted that these temporary measures were taken due to logistical bottlenecks (capacity) regarding these products in Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia and on the condition that member countries do not maintain any restrictive measures.

The report refers to the possibility of a significant improvement in the activities of the "corridors of solidarity" and the solution of challenges associated with the transportation of grain from Ukraine to foreign markets.
Import of products from Ukraine: what is known

After Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainian ports were blocked, so our state was looking for other ways of supply routes, in particular through Poland.

Subsequently, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Bulgaria faced an excess of Ukrainian agricultural products. Later, they unilaterally banned grain imports from Ukraine.

The EU first condemned these decisions, but subsequently the European Commission reached an agreement with them and Romania.

1943 Maps Show What Ukraine's Kakhovka Reservoir Will Look Like When the Waters Settle Down

308647f60b54d30b.jpg

Kakhovka Reservoir was created in 1955-1958 after the Kakhovka hydropower plant was commissioned, it raised the water level 16 meters up. The length of the lake is 230 km, and it stretches from the major city of Zaporizhzhia all the way to Nova Kakhovka town. It is 9.4 km wide on average and 24 km at the widest point, the total area is 2155 km², and the volume is 18.2 km³.

However, these parameters pertain to the body of water when the dam of the Kakhovka HPP is there. Now that it's been blown up by the russians, according to Ukrainian reports, the water rapidly escapes the reservoir. Ultimately, the Dnipro River should return to its original state before the dam was constructed. And we can imagine what it will look like thanks to the maps created before 1955.

On the central TV channel of the Russian Federation they called to destroy the Kyiv hydroelectric power station and flood Kyiv

Russian propaganda sees nothing wrong with the destruction of hydroelectric power plants and the flooding of entire cities.

After the flooding of the Kherson region, Russian state channels openly call for the destruction of the dam of the Kyiv hydroelectric power station in order to flood Kyiv. Also, the Russian television is outraged that people in the liberated territories of Ukraine are returning to peaceful life.

Thus, the "expert" invited to the studio of the Russian federal channel, who turned out to be a professor at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, a retired general Yevgeny Buzhinsky, offered to "revenge" Ukraine for the destroyed Kakhovka hydroelectric power station.

“Since it has already come to the destruction of hydroelectric power plants, maybe it’s worth taking a closer look at the beginning of this cascade - the Kiev hydroelectric power station? There is a beautiful reservoir there, just a little higher than Kiev. Four, in my opinion, kilometers of cubic water. I would think about it, "- said "expert".
