On the morning of September 6, the Russian invaders launched a massive attack on Ukraine, most of the enemy targets were directed at the Ukrainian capital. The head of the KMVA, Sergei Popko, said that the attack was combined.

"Preliminarily, from the region of the Saratov region, from strategic aviation aircraft Tu-95MS, the Russians fired cruise missiles of the X-101 / 555 / 55 type. At the same time, missiles of a different type, probably ballistic, were launched in Kiev. All enemy targets that were moving in the direction of the capital were destroyed by air defense forces and means," he said.

According to Popko, in Kyiv, previously, without casualties and destruction. Official information on the number and types of downed air targets will be published by the Air Force after the data has been summarized.

The Russians' attempt to protect their Tu-95 strategic bombers at the Engels airfield with tires may have limited effect.

About it writes CNN with reference to the opinions of experts. According to them, in this way the invaders want not only to strengthen protection against Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, but also to reduce the visibility of aircraft, especially at night.

https://edition.cnn.com/europe/live-news/russia-ukraine-war-news-09-05-23/h_bd482cc8ed321135faef44a6bee0ae5e

Francisco Serra-Martins of One Way Aerospace, whose drones were used by the UAF, said the effort could have limited effect on damage reduction. "This may reduce the thermal signature for open strategic aviation facilities located on airfield aprons, but they will still be visible under infrared cameras," he said.

OSINT researcher Steffan Watkins says the tires could be used to protect aircraft from debris in the event of an explosion.

"While it looks pretty silly, it looks like they are trying to do everything they can to protect planes that are otherwise sitting ducks. Whether or not this will work depends on what kind of warhead is mounted on the missile/drone," he added. .

One NATO military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said they saw an attempt to protect the aircraft. "We believe that it is designed to protect against drones. We do not know if this will have any effect," he said.

On February 24, Russia launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities,

conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages.

I am in the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kyiv.
I do not leave the city, I follow what is happening here, reassure my family and friends, explain the situation and follow the press reports.

A lot of panic messages, a lot of fake news from Russian propaganda.
I select only the information that has confirmation.
As a former military man (in the distant past), I have a good understanding of how hostilities are conducted and what weapons are used.

I will answer all your questions.

Since February 24, Russia has attacked Ukraine, many cities of Ukraine have been destroyed.

Because of the war, I lost my business in Ukraine, if you want to help me and my family, my Paypal is: Alex.Sor.2022@gmail.com

Situation update as of 6 a.m., September 11, 2023
Day 565 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct defensive operations in the east and the offensive operation in the south of Ukraine. As they destroy the enemy, they liberate the temporarily occupied territories and consolidate new positions.
Last night, the russian federation launched yet another missile and air strike on Ukraine. Information on the aftermath of this terrorist attack is currently being updated.
During the day of September 10, there were more than 30x combat engagements. The enemy launched 5x missile, 87x air strikes, 44x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian targets in various settlements. The occupiers also attacked Ukraine with 33x Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones, 26x of which were intercepted by Ukrainian air defense. The russian terrorist attacks caused destructions or damage to more than 100x private homes and other civilian infrastructure.
The following settlements were hit by enemy air strikes: Kostyantynivka (Sumy oblast), Vesele, Ohirtseve, Syn’kivka, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka (Kharkiv oblast), Novoselivs’ke, Novojehorivka, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Spirne, Khromove, New York, Avdiivka, Staromaiors’ke (Donetsk oblast), Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne (Zaporizhzhya oblast), Burhunka (Kherson oblast), Pervomays’kyy Island, Zmiinyi Island.
About 100x settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts came under enemy artillery fire.
Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.
Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary continues to maintain a group of troops safeguarding the state border. The enemy troops conduct active subversive activities in the border areas in order to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened axes.
Khortytsia operational-strategic group, Bakhmut axis: the Defense Forces have partial success in the vicinity of Klishchiivka (Donetsk oblast), pushing the enemy out of their positions and consolidating the new positions; fierce fighting continues. In addition, the occupants made unsuccessful attempts to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the vicinities of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Klishchiivka, and Kurdyumivka (Donetsk oblast).
Tavria operational-strategic group, Avdiivka, Mar’inka, and Shakhtars’ke axes: the Ukrainian Defense Forces have the initiative to hold back the enemy, conduct assault operations, and win back Ukrainian land. For instance, the Ukrainian defenders are successfully holding defenses in the vicinities of Keramik, Avdiivka, Sjeverne, Mar’inka, and Rivnopil’ (Donetsk oblast), where the enemy made about 20x unsuccessful attempts to force Ukrainian troops out of their positions during the day of September 10. All enemy attacks resulted in significant losses in manpower and equipment for the occupiers.
Melitopol’ axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and consolidating their positions.
Kherson axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct counter-battery fire, destroy supply depots, and successfully strike behind the enemy lines.
Due to the catastrophic losses of the occupiers, a massive forced mobilization is expected to begin shortly. It will cover both russia and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. According to various estimates, the number of people to be mobilized could range from 400 to 700 thousand. It is noteworthy that about 40 thousand residents of the Chechen Republic are also planned to be drafted, who are likely to be used as “barrier units” behind russian troops. At the same time, the planned numbers of mobilized among the population of Moscow and St. Petersburg remain minimal yet again. Ordinary citizens – residents of russian regions – will once again go to the front as “cannon fodder” and be pushed to their deaths by Kadyrov’s executioners. Therefore, virtually the only way for the russian military to survive is to voluntarily surrender to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
During the day of September 10, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 11x strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy.
Missile troops hit 8x artillery systems of the adversary.

How the US monitors the offensive of the Armed Forces in real time - CBS

The American television channel CBS gained access to the top-secret command center deep in the bowels of the Pentagon, where all intelligence data from the battlefields in Ukraine are collected and analyzed, and spoke with General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

General Milli is deeply involved in the war in Ukraine and communicates weekly with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny. According to him, he has never seen such intense battles as in Ukraine - although he has been in many battles.

For the past 100 days, Ukrainian forces have been firing very heavy artillery in an attempt to break through Russian defense lines - with an intensity that US officials say they cannot sustain for long.

According to CBS, the Ukrainian offensive, which Milley was involved in planning, is facing stronger resistance than expected.

"But that's the difference between a war on paper and a real war. Real people die and real vehicles explode, so people tend to slow down in those situations. But they still make progress every day," Milley was quoted as saying by CBS.

Maps on the screens in the command center track the painful course of the offensive - the Ukrainians crash into Russian lines protected by minefields, trenches, ditches, barbed wire, anti-tank fortifications and small squads of Russians armed with anti-tank weapons.

The United States talks about the 44 billion dollars of military equipment that it transferred to Ukraine, but does not advertise equally valuable intelligence.

When asked whether the US shares information with Ukraine about the movement of Russian troops, Milley replied: "Our intelligence channels to Ukraine are undoubtedly quite open - CIA, NSA, etc."

At the same time, he added that the US does not help choose targets for strikes - this is Ukraine's prerogative - but only provides information about the situation as much as possible.

According to CBS, Ukraine's goal is to reach Melitopol, where they will be able to cut the territory occupied by Russia in half.

But with the end of summer and the arrival of autumn, the deterioration of the weather will complicate the situation on the battlefield.

"It won't be winter - it will be rains that will make the ground soft and unusable for ground maneuvers," says Milley.

Director of the information and consulting company Defense Express Sergei Zgurets noted that Ukraine is effectively destroying key military installations of the Russian Federation, which are used for attacks on our territory.

“The main good news of these days is the attack on Sevastopol, the attack on the base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, on the dry docks where 2 Russian warships were being repaired. A large landing ship of the Ropycha class, like the Olenegorsk Miner, which is now being repaired in Novorossiysk and an underwater "Kilo class boat. Such a submarine is used for cruise missile attacks on Ukraine," Zgurets explained on the Espresso TV channel.

According to the expert, Ukraine is effectively destroying key Russian military installations that are used for attacks.

“The Russians have very few such dry docks where repair work can be carried out. This blow will have a significant impact on the further processes of servicing Russian warships. The target was extremely precisely chosen, which was destroyed and has a multiplier effect. The Sevastopol plant is the base enterprise. It is used, "as a base and storage facility for other components that are needed for military operations of the Russian Federation. I do not rule out that there were additional attacks that resulted in the destruction of Russian stocks and ammunition of the Russian Federation," Zgurets added.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un held talks at the Vostochny cosmodrome in the Amur region. The meeting lasted more than two hours, after which the leaders of the two countries took part in an official dinner and made several statements.

As Meduza reports, the dictators exchanged mutual praise and recalled their common history.

"Our visit to Russia is taking place at a very important period. Now Russia has risen to a sacred struggle to defend its state sovereignty and protect its security in opposition to the hegemonic forces opposing it... We are confident that the Russian army and people will certainly win the Great Victory in the sacred struggle to punish the gathering of evil that claims hegemony and nourishes expansionist illusions, and (will win the struggle - UNIAN) to create stable conditions for development. I am deeply convinced that the heroic Russian army and people, brilliantly following the tradition of victory, will confidently demonstrate the invaluable advantages of honor in two fronts - a special military operation and building a strong state," said Kim Jong-un.

The DPRK leader also added that his country “wants to further develop relations” and always supports all decisions of Putin and the Russian government.

But Putin recalled that relations between the Russian Federation and the DPRK “were established during Korea’s struggle for freedom in 1945, when Soviet and Korean soldiers side by side defeated the Japanese militarists.”

“Even today we strive to strengthen the ties of society and good neighborliness. We act in the name of peace, stability and prosperity of our common region... In Korea there is a proverb: “Beautiful clothes are new, but a friend is old.” And among our people they say: “An old friend - better than the new two." These folk wisdom fully apply to relations between our countries," Putin said.

As a result of an attack by Russian kamikaze drones, a warehouse containing humanitarian aid burned down in Lviv. This was reported by the UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Ukraine Denise Brown.

"I strongly condemn the Russian airstrike that destroyed the warehouse of the NGO Caritas Spes in Lviv, western Ukraine, this morning. A vital humanitarian facility, which contained approximately 300 tons of humanitarian aid, burned to the ground," she said.

Brown noted that attacks on humanitarian facilities in Ukraine have become more frequent over the past year, ultimately affecting those who need this humanitarian assistance.

On June 19, 2023, the enemy stopped attack UAVs of the “Shahed-136/131” type, as well as the Iskander-M ballistic missile.

Also, in a similar way, reconnaissance UAVs of the operational-tactical level have been reduced.

"Polish officials have shown declassified documents that testify to a plan for a large-scale retreat of the army across the Vistula River in the event of a Russian invasion.
The video with the statement was published by the Minister of Defense Mariusz Blaszczak.
"The plan for the use of armed forces, approved by the then head of the Ministry of Defense Klich (as of 2011), provided that the independent defense of the country would last a maximum of two weeks, and in seven days the enemy would come to the right bank of the Vistula. The documents clearly show that Lublin, Rzeszów and Łomża could have been Polish Bucha," Blaszczak said.
The probable retreat of the Polish armed formations across the Vistula would mean the loss of 40% of the territories and their surrender to the advancing enemy troops for occupation without actually fighting."
