BlackButton85
We just use regular tap water to water down our mash for redistillation.
MG Thermal Consulting
..From the same lake that Genny Beer gets its water I remember that commercial for back when I was a kid, " Genny Beer, made from pure Hemlock Lake water"...I used to wonder what Hemlock tasted like, LOL. rtshfd
If Genny beer is any indication MG lol...those genny screamers...that's an experience for sure. But really, hemlock lake's mineral profile is quite accommodating to fermentation which is why it's so prized. Just a little sediment and carbon filter for the chlorine and you're good to go. Ontario water on the other hand...yikes!
NEPA-still-chillin
I've been going through a small carbon filter with just straight tap water, working out great!
