  1. Needle nose pliers. One berry at a time.. lol
  2. Yes well under $100k. We have not been open for a full two years yet but its my day job getting paid and turning a profit.
  3. thats just how i roll... Ok so not the column but the main condenser.
  4. Looking for a more environmentally friendly way to cool our still column, We are just running water through it now, seems like a huge wast. We could do a holding take with a small chiller in it but wondering what others are doing
  5. Anyone have a contact for these guys? The website that google brings up is a dead link. Looking for a labeler that will automatically spin the bottle and space front and back labels.
  6. Just wanted to see how people are sending single or a couple cases at a time. Iv been dealing with Fed X over some busted bottles and apparently they do not insure alcohol at all even if you pay for added insurance. We double box them with a bunch of peanuts but the fact is no matter how i wrap it when someone drops a case of booze its going to break. How is everyone sending their single cases?
  7. My two cents would be if you ran it harder you would get less reflux. Your basically blasting a ton of heat up it and there is no reflux because you have your column so hot there is nothing to cause cooling. If you ran it cooler (lots cooler) the top of your column would never come to fully heat and would cool the vapor and give you some reflux. Not that i am saying to so this at all but cooler i think would cause more "ambient" reflux
  8. what are you paying per pound for your orris?
  9. You should be able to print it on a roll, I have done marketing and dealt with printers and there is very little you cant do at a pro print shop. On a roll is the only way to go
  10. Why do you want direct fire? My two cents is this is going to cause you more trouble than its worth, and id go for a written approval instead of a verbal one.
  11. You have to look at it form the eyes of the distributor. Why do they want to carry your product? Im sure its amazing but they have those already and are selling them. Why is your Moonshine so great? Until you have this or a sales history, your choices of distributors will be limited at best.
  12. Any one selling to Total wine and more? How are they to deal with?
  13. Well just called Colorado and to ship to Colorado it needs to go to a distributor. Just because you do ship with a disclamer doesn't make it legal your still the one who shipped it,
  14. I guess i meant more direct to someone with at liquor sales license like a bar or retail liquor store. So just being able to self distribute not necessarily strait to the guy on the couch in his bath robe.
  15. Do any of you Colorado peeps know if you can ship into Colorado directly to a consumer of if you have to have a distributor.
  16. That wine spectator is from 2005 and doesn't talk about spirits at all. Arn't spirits treated differently than wine?
  17. Distillery in Utah? is that possible. I guess high west is there but do they distill anything.
  18. Our ceilings are about 24 feet, But i swear i had read someplace that they could only be stacked 3 high. I just can't find that now Also pretty sure its not going to matter one squat to my fire marshal what Jamison does in Ireland.
  19. Hi Just a quick question. What is the allowable hight to stack barrels? Iv heard multiple answers so if you have any references can you past those in as well. thanks
  20. 1) Do they need owner/officer information for all investors or just managers? Our investors are all silent and own anywhere from 5-10%, but none of it is voting stock. They want everyone who has money on the line. 2) What do they require for source of funds? Do they want our bank statements showing us getting funds from investors? Or do they want our investor bank statements showing where they got their funds? Yes, 6 months back bank statements from everyone involved, You, your investors everyone 3) Do they require serial numbers for all the equipment (fermenters, mash tank, etc.) or just the still? Yes serial numbers on everything, 4) Do I need to upload my lease? I see nothing prompting this? Yes you submit the lease
  21. I will open the man way and hit it with some cold water to cool it down a bit before draining, but its still probably hotter than 150 when i start draining.
  22. Thanks John That's what I was planing, glad I was on the right track. I will probably use a .45 instead of the .5 since I already have those for my clear spirits.
