  2. Just fill them out, there is going to be plenty of road blocks that will be a lot harder to solve than this one. It takes about 10 minutes to do it and unless they have something to hide its no big deal.
  3. Just the tank that your mix your spirits down to bottle proof in. Fire marshal seems to think we need a UL rating on it.
  4. What kind of UL rating do you guys have on your mixing tank?
  5. I have read it and i still dont see where it ways "liquids in processing are exempt" What am i missing

  16. What about filters prior to bottling? Iv been looking at some from Millipore and they are a pretty penny. Has anyone had any luck with other more affordable sources? Maybe a converted in line water filter?
  17. any one use this hose? http://nelsonjameson...PSD--p8629.html looks like the lining is White FFDA butyl and according to this chart http://www.customadvanced.com/chemical-resistance-chart.html should be good to go unless im missing something
  18. Would it still be considered a distilled gin If your having to ad in neutral after distillation?
  19. Is adding neutral spirits after distillation permitted by the TTB?
  20. So if im understanding this right, the oil can come over in the beginning and the end of the run? Mostly Citrus in the front and Juniper at the end? Does Vapor infusion impart less oil into the run? VS a maceration?
  21. kckadi How long from the time it was moved to final review until the permit was actually finally approved? I hope we are close behind you.
  22. I guess if you got audited you could have the TTB agent who comes use your calibrated hydrometer and do a reading and then send it in for a test and hopefully their reading would be off the same as yours are. Your tool would still be off but at least it might prove your not intentionally doing it.
  23. I dont have an answer thats why i am asking. So you will send off a sample of every batch you bottle to verify what your readings are telling you?
  24. Yeah i get using someone certified, its just if they are off then you are off, and when the TTb comes knocking at your door because you are off what good does a certificate that says its accurate do for you? You are still off in the end.
