Hello fellow Distillers,

We have 2x400 gal Historic Arthur Harris  & Co copper kettles for sale.  We bought a few of them from the decommissioned Hershey's Chocolate factory in Oakdale CA.  We contracted Vendome Copper and Brass to refurbish them for us which they were very excited to do.  The attached pics are of the kettles that are not refurbished and pics of our refurbished kettles we are keeping, you can see how amazing they are after Vendome refurbed them.  We are selling the NON REFURBISHED kettles.  Here are some key facts.

Arthur Harris & Co started in the 1890's.

Vendome can have these refurbished in LESS than 6 months. See below pic of both of our finished kettles in the Vendome Factory.

Built in 1964 by Arthur Harris & Co for the Hersheys chocolate factory to condense milk.

1/4" thick copper, the kettles have been sonically tested for thickness by Vendome.

We have 2 to choose from.  We are selling 2

We are selling these for $50,000 if you buy one.  Or $90,000 for both pots

Vendome can refurb one for around $55-$75k depending on what spirit you want to run and what improvements you want to add.

Buyer can contact myself or Rob Sherman at Vendome for any info/facts and price to finish.

We are located in Palestine TX.  The kettles can be viewed, including our refurbed ones to see what they look like finished any time.

Slick,

NO. We were lucky enough to snag two from TAH a while back. Just took delivery from Vendome in January.
there’s something to be said about “old” copper. We’re extremely fortunate and happy to have had the opportunity to make old new again.
