TheMechWarrior
I’m looking for a supplier in the US to meet my bulk barrel needs here in Australia. Wishing to fill a 20ft or 40ft shipping container as a first order to test the process. I'm looking at the following needs as a minimum for my next season (sizes are approximate, use as a guide only): Quantity Litres US gal 200 20 5 50 50 13 50 100 26 50 225 59 50 300 79 12 500 132 Let me know what you have available and what you feel you may be able to supply. Any pointers to suppliers greatly appreciated. Cheers, Mech.
JustAndy
http://barrelsandracks.fishcreative.com/barrels/ might be able to help you. You aren't likely to find any 300 or 500 liter bourbon barrels, if you do they will be wine casks that someone finished bourbon in.
captnKB
try contacting the folks at Kelvin. They have solid leads on ex bourbon barrels
nabtastic
I use Rocky Mountain Barrel Company for most of our used barrels. I've been pretty pleased with them so far. Incidentally, we've got ~30 (15) gallon barrels used for agricole rum if you're interested. We are moving into larger barrels. Wouldn't be a long term solution for you though. Brad
We use new 25 gallon (about 90-95 liters in practice) barrels for most of our 77 Whiskey. And so I have a regular supply of once used for sale. Let me know if you are interested. Brad info AT brkdistilling.com
