  14. Knox Whiskey Works (KWW) located in Downtown Knoxville, East Tennessee is looking to hire an Assistant Distiller with appropriate experience. KWW makes White Whiskey, bourbon, gin, vodka, and several liqueurs. KWW began operations in 2015, is now distributed throughout East Tennessee, and is open seven days a week. Assistant Distiller position will be a Monday-Friday position with paid overtime and benefits after six months. Salary is negotiable based on experience. DUTIES: Assist in day to day operation of the distillery (i.e. mashing, fermentation, distillation and maintenance of the distillery). Other duties include bottling, inventory, and record keeping. SKILLS: Applicant must be dependable, hardworking and professional. Assistant must be physically able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs and be prepared to be on their feet continuously. Being a part of ADI is a community of craft distillers who stay in contact and network, so I thought I'd write this message to notify and get the word out. I want to learn everything I can and gain as much experience because I am a passionate individual in this field. My name is Raphaël Germain-Robin and I have worked as an apprentice assistant distiller at Stillwater Spirits through the American Distilling Institute (ADI) where I had received an internship through Bill Owens the President of ADI. Following that internship, I had my article published in the ADI newsletter. For 3 years I also worked part time as a cellar worker at Alambic, Inc. (Germain-Robin Brandy).
