  4. What options do you have available for reconditioned chillers?

What kettle size are you using? Heat up time?
  7. Used tequila barrels

  8. Due to a change of plan from one of my clients, the guys at Still Dragon North America now have one of their 2000L (17 BBL) steam jacket mash tuns for sale at a 15% discount. This takes the total to approximately $15300, which is basically a steal for equipment of that size in perfect condition. The piece ships out from Riviera Beach, Fl, which the buyer will have to pay. I can answer any questions regarding specs beyond those provided and extra pictures if need be. Luke@killdevilspiritco.com. 11. Adding base to low wines to prevent esterfication

Lots of talk about all this recently, sodium bi-carb works but sodium carbonate works faster. Let rest for a few days for creased results seemed to be the consensus but not required. Definitely add to low wines, esterification occurs in reflux and gets mostly discarded as heads... Your cut will decide the amount leaked in. Tackling the cause prior will reduce esterification and thus, less overall heads. The actual route is bacteria in the fermentation if you want to get down with some antibiotics. You don't want be adding stuff post distillation imo. There is an enormous ongoing thread on the topic on the stilldragon forum I highly suggest reading. It will fill in where I have jumped around
  12. A Few Vodka Run Questions...

In my opinion it makes more sense to redirect, and if they're closed off they aren't going to get any hotter so no temperature or pressure increase. The agitator is only really necessary until a rolling boil is reached in a jacketed system, after that you have the turbulence from the boil. It will cut boil up time before pulling too
