Hey all ... Just read the latest TTB news release and read that the TTB is removing the burdensome requirement to keep daily records of spirits produced or bottled !!!! Hoorahhhhh
While the forum is open to all and an excellent source for info, a lot of us here are licensed distillers and would reccomend www.homedistiller.org for home distillers.... Thanxxx..BRian
It should not be an issue moving finished goods through the retail or any other area ... Keep in mind that when your spirits leave your bonded area is when taxes are due !!...
++++ on the tip button Hedgebird !!!... 90% of our customers tip even when buying a bottle !!! awesome feature .... And Wandernorth , Gopayment is sort of integrated but it kind of dumps the data in and doesn't really identify it ... Really tough to reconcile your books .....
Sweet Jimmy !!!... Is that a chopper in the background ?????..... Do you use any kind of a formula for the layout of the bend, or just lay it out ????? ... I failed at making a bend ....
+1 !!!..... What worked for us more than anything was to re-read the CFR 27 and highlight things... Then pretend like the application is a test .... Thanxxx...Brian
I bought a hardcopy of CFR 27 from the TTB and I still refer to it weekly ... Reads like stereo instructions , but you really need to know everything in there .....
Hi Austontatious .. It is a little crowded there but seems like everyone in Colorado supports the local distillers ... Good distribution laws, help from the local government, plus awesome country !!!!
Heres a good one .... Just relabeled the neck labels of 480 bottles because one of the volunteers was using hand lotion !!!.... Of course I found this right after palletizing 56 cases !!!... Hoorahhhh !!!!,, :(
Not quite the same but we actually had to change our name a week after our DSP was approved .... I ended up having to call (@ 6:00 am MST worked) and someone walked me though it ... All done online took about 2 weeks to get approval .... Thanxxx...Brian
