A serviceman with a penetrating heart wound was rescued in one of the frontline mobile hospitals.
Initially, there was a quick and professional delivery of the wounded by combat medics to the hospital. And then - the professionalism of military surgeons and anesthesiologists saved the life of a soldier!
The operation lasted 2 hours.
Now the wounded is already undergoing rehabilitation and is feeling well.
Only the scar after the operation ... and a shard of metal that the surgeons donated in memory reminds the serviceman of the fatal wound.
According to statistics, most of the wounded with gunshot wounds to the heart die before admission to the hospital.
After all, such injuries lead to significant blood loss with the development of cardiac tamponade.
Mortality at the prehospital stage reaches 90%.
The chances of surviving such an injury are minimal. But our military surgeons are fighting for their lives.

Kyiv was shelled for the first time since the end of April.

On the morning of June 5, several explosions thundered in Kyiv. Rocket strikes were carried out on the Darnitsky and Dniprovsky districts of the Ukrainian capital, said the mayor of the city, Vitaliy Klitschko.

"Several explosions. Services are already working on site," Klitschko wrote. As a result of the shelling, there were no dead, one person was hospitalized, Klitschko said later.

According to preliminary data, the missiles hit infrastructure facilities. Eyewitnesses reported fires.

Member of the Supervisory Board of the company "Ukrzaliznytsya" (Ukrainian railways) Serhiy Leshchenko wrote that the blow was dealt to the railway infrastructure. The mayor of Brovary - a city 25 km from Kyiv - Igor Sapozhko said that the shelling took place in the immediate vicinity of the village. He noted that after the explosions in the capital there is a smell of smoke.

The command of the Ukrainian Air Force reported that the missiles, according to preliminary data, were launched from Tu-95 aircraft from the Caspian Sea. The military claims that several rockets were fired in the direction of Kyiv around 6 a.m., one of which was destroyed by anti-aircraft defense.

The Independent journalists pointed to a big hole in the Russian oil embargo
European companies have nearly doubled Russian oil supplies since Vladimir Putin's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

All this is happening against the backdrop of desperate attempts by EU leaders to completely oust the Russian Federation from the European oil and natural gas market. This is stated in the new material of the authoritative publication The Independent.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/russia-ukraine-oil-sanctions-shipping-b2092658.html

The publication cites a new analysis of shipping data from Refinitiv by anti-corruption group Global Witness. It shows how the three main European shipping countries - Greece, Cyprus and Malta - have dramatically increased the volume of Russian oil transportation around the world, taking advantage of large increases in tanker tariffs.

The data shows that these shipments have boosted Russian dictator Putin's coffers by billions of dollars, providing vital funds to continue the brutal war. In total, since February 24, companies from these three countries have purchased 178 million barrels of Russian oil worth $17.3 billion.

Analysts point out that the oil embargo should be, first of all, an embargo. Whereas, in fact, the latest package of EU sanctions allows Russian oil to continue to flow to Europe via pipelines through Hungary, and companies from Greece, Malta and Cyprus have the opportunity to continue to supply Russian oil to countries that are not members of the EU.

To close this gap, the EU must firmly oppose lobbying by all member states that have vested interests in the Russian oil trade and put a ban on shipping at the core of a united Europe sanctions policy. Earlier, Bloomberg described a new "creative" scheme for exporting Russian oil to China - with reloading at sea. According to the agency, those wishing to buy Russian oil receive significant discounts compared to world prices for black gold.

Ukraine is waiting for the growth of inflation and unemployment, the situation is getting worse - forecast

The economic situation in Ukraine will only worsen in the future. An increase in inflation and unemployment is expected, as well as an increase in the indicator of underfulfillment of the state budget revenues.

Such a forecast was made by the Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy of the Verkhovna Rada Daniil Getmantsev on the air of the All-Ukrainian telethon.

"My estimates of the decline in Gross Product - somewhere around 30-35% - coincide with the estimates of our international partners, in particular, the International Monetary Fund. Undoubtedly, this will have a negative impact on every Ukrainian, it is already having a negative effect. We see an underperformance of the state budget revenues, and this shortfall will be greater month by month. We see inflationary processes in the economy, and they will also worsen in a certain way.We also see that the economy in part does not work, primarily in war zones, in the occupied territory. This means an increase in unemployment , this means an increase in the level of poverty in the state," he said.

Hetmantsev considers such trends to be objective due to the continuation of hostilities.

Earlier it was reported that one of the consequences of the war in Ukraine was the growth of unemployment in the state. And even those Ukrainians who have not lost their jobs do not receive wages in full.

This is the density of shelling in our positions - everything around is pierced by shell fragments.

Only deep trenches dug with the same shovel save lives.

The foreign military, watching the video of the shelling, does not believe that people can hold their positions and not retreat under such fire, and sometimes even make desperate attacks.

But the Armed Forces can. Therefore, we will win. Glory to Ukraine!

Volodymyr Zelenskyy:

Ukraine has shown extraordinary courage. We did not surrender to Russia. We have stopped and are gradually ousting the army of invaders, which was recently considered the second strongest in the world. Nobody expected Ukrainians to have courage of this magnitude. But this scale is there. And this is a property of our character - a willingness to fight for freedom and for our values.

T-72B3, according to the Ukrainian tanker, is an extremely ill-conceived car that was not created for people

As for the real combat capabilities of the T-72B3, which is the main battle tank of the Russian army, there have always been differences between what was declared by Russian propaganda and the real characteristics that from time to time leaked to the public sphere.

For example, the problem of Russian tanks with engines that continue to run on deep upgrades beyond the turbocharged B-2 engine, the same as the heroic T-34 was equipped with, is well known.

And now there is a detailed review from the Ukrainian tanker-gunner, who inspected the T-72B3 in terms of fire control system and ergonomic characteristics. Video (include subtitles and translation from Russian to English).

Astronomical stocks of armored vehicles in the Russian army - a myth from the category of "no analogues"

For decades, the Soviet Union and then the Russian Federation worked hard to create the myth of thousands of tanks "behind the Urals" and just waiting for their time to march through Europe. The imaginary mechanized monster was a powerful foundation of great imperial ambitions for the average Russian, who could expect to enter a civilized country by only one mode of transport - the tank. From time to time, the myth was fueled by stories on propaganda channels, demonstrating these "astronomical" stocks, albeit not the latest, but combat vehicles "created by the USSR to destroy the United States itself."

a17625ee24ec1268.webp

bfd625ee4b249f93.jpg

Moreover, when the scale of the losses of the Russian army in armored vehicles from the actions of the Armed Forces began to emerge in the minds of ordinary racists, it was the myth of "ten thousand tanks in the Urals" became a lifeline for their consciousness. But small changes in the quality of Google Maps and anyone anywhere on Earth can test this myth. Until recently, most Russian military facilities, including equipment storage bases, looked so difficult to disassemble. The same boxes, some darker, some lighter, probably some in the best condition, others in the worst. But now very interesting details are revealed. Hundreds of armored units without towers piled on top of each other:

3ff625ee568c9825.jpg

And it turns out that the entire huge base, which is simply lined with armored vehicles, which should be enough for an entire tank army, more or less visually correct, stored about 100 tanks, while "on paper" only at this base can be seen "hulls" of more than a thousand vehicles. 077625ee65511e8f.jpg

Well, some really distant base somewhere in Primorye. Maybe things are better closer to "civilization". For example, the base near Ulan-Ude, the capital of Buryatia.

d4c625ee7dba405b.jpg

But it seems that a new secret technology for storing tanks was invented on this basis. The building is separate, the tower is separate.

51f625ee7ec397cd.jpg

Or, armored vehicles, similar to the BMP-1, from which the engines were removed with a quiet breath and thrown without even closing the engine and transmission departments. 660625ee8bc5a1f0.jpg

A similar picture can be seen in other storage bases throughout Russia. In Omsk, with overgrown hangars, or Achinsk, with trees that have sprouted through trucks.

8a7625eeadd4323c.jpg

All these are remnants of a huge myth about the endless supply of military equipment of the Russian Federation. Which, in the minds of racists, allows to drive to war from unlimited warehouses echelons of tanks and armored vehicles.

But the reality is still very different from the myth. And he was already swaying from the realization that all these cars are in storage, at least, without batteries and radios. But one thing is incomplete, and another - a tree that has sprouted everywhere in the tower. And a fairly detailed search of the storage bases of the Russian army shows that this is the case in most cases. For an army of one million, there are only a few cases when everything looks as it should from a satellite.

Censorship and the new era of wartime.

Yesterday Zelensky met with journalists. In terms of format, it was a press conference. But in all official messages it is called "communication". Why substitute concepts? I will explain now.

Zelensky was asked about the state of freedom of speech and censorship during the war, the ban on journalists from being on the front lines (Butusov was mentioned), the closure of air for opposition TV channels, the joint telethon and restrictions on speakers.

Unfortunately, Zelensky replied that he did not see any problems. "As for inviting certain journalists. You are here. I understand that everything is fine. And you were invited," Zelensky said.

But not everything is fine. And this speech of his is just a confirmation. The press conference was specifically called "communication". Thus, with the help of the modern "new language" of the President's Office, it is easier to explain the absence of a number of media on "communication". Because a press conference is a public event that should be open to the public. And here some "communication" - purely by invitation. And as if that's why you can invite "whom the soul will choose." You can come up with different criteria for inviting journalists.

But when there are no representatives of the top media at this press conference (I will leave the term "communication" for manipulators from Bankova), it is censorship. I'm talking about Censor.net. Among online media, it is the Ukrainian leader in terms of audience. The absence of a representative of this media cannot be explained by any conscious criteria. In addition to personal hostility. But the Ukrainian president must put his personal dislike for one or another Ukrainian journalist deep in his bedside table.

Otherwise, a ban on the participation of journalists in a public event - I repeat - this is censorship. And it is no longer necessary to ask Zelensky about the ban on the front line. Yes, restricting freedom of speech during war is a constitutional norm. But this norm should work the same for everyone. And for access at press conferences, on the front line, on TV.

In general, his reflections on freedom of speech Zelensky demonstrated a lack of understanding of this very freedom of speech and its value. He spoke of the need to unite journalists around one victory. And it seems to be the right thing to do. But in his opinion, this union is designed to carry the truth as it is. And he sees this "truth" on the air of a joint telethon.

What "truth" of a telethon can we talk about if there are almost no soldiers on the air during the war? Is it true that there are no military in the war? This is just one point in the whole list of flaws of this telethon, which does not form in the viewer a complete true picture of the country at war. Instead, this telethon focused on all the shortcomings of oligarchic television.

And even now for budget funds. In fact, our state is turning into one big media oligarch. A year ago, in the rosy dreams of media people from Bankova, there were two small TV channels among the 20 on the market. And now they have 2 out of 2. Jackpot. It seems that Bankova is convinced that during the war everything should be "at my request". And that the war will write it all off. He doesn't sleep. Even in our army, not everything happens at the will of commanders.

Almost all Armed Forces units have normal discussions about certain operations. And this is normal. All united by one goal. But visions of achieving this goal may be different. Therefore, commanders calmly discuss plans with subordinates, rather than stupidly giving orders. A normal army of a healthy democratic community. Therefore, it will not be possible to impose one "truth" in the media. We need one victory. But the result of this victory must be a democratic state with the same freedom of speech. If only the media from the President's Office had not dreamed otherwise.

I plan to write a big post about what is happening in Ukraine, what I see myself and what we discuss with friends...

This is not at all what the news reports on the Internet ...

The situation in the Ukrainian economy is very bad now. Zelensky even before the war was "famous" for his failed decisions in terms of economic development, but what is happening now will be the final collapse ... :(

I'll gather my thoughts and write in a couple of days.

Because of the war, I lost my business in Ukraine, if you want to help me and my family, my Paypal is: Alex.Sor.2022@gmail.com

Russia is running out of high-precision missiles, but it could fight for a year.

The Kremlin may try to freeze the war for a while to persuade the West to lift sanctions but then continue the aggression.

Russia is running out of high-precision missiles, but at the current rate it may wage war against Ukraine for another year.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"We have noticed that Russia is carrying out far fewer missiles and using X-22 missiles. These are old Soviet missiles made in the 1970s. This indicates that high-precision missiles are running out in Russia," Ukrainian military intelligence spokesman Vadim Skibitsky told reporters. of the British edition of The Guardian.

At the same time, it is noted that Russia's economic resources will allow the occupying country to continue the war at the current pace for another year.

"The Kremlin leadership may try to freeze the war for a while to persuade the West to lift the sanctions, but then continue the aggression. Their goal is the whole of Ukraine and beyond," Skibitsky said.

Earlier, Skibitsky said that Ukraine now relies on Western weapons, but there is little ammunition left. There is an artillery war at the front and Ukraine is losing to Russia in this.

"Newspaper headlines are gradually disappearing": Shevchenko told how Europe views the war in Ukraine

The 45-year-old coach said that Ukraine still needs the support of Western countries.

Legendary Ukrainian footballer Andrei Shevchenko spoke about the importance of reporting on the war in Ukraine abroad so that the country continues to receive support.

The former coach of the Ukrainian national team noted that the world press is beginning to make headlines about Ukraine on the front pages less often.

"Today we definitely need fundraising, because more than three months have passed, and you understand perfectly well that this wave is starting to go away. Therefore, it is very important to talk, take measures, maintain a constant boiling point, the situation in the country is very difficult and people must help. Newspaper headlines are gradually disappearing, so it is very important to maintain this line, this boiling point and the understanding that the war continues. We need support. It will be very difficult without her, "Shevchenko said.

We will add that the day before Andrey Shevchenko visited a charity dinner-auction in London for fundraising for restoration of Ukraine. According to him, about a million dollars were collected.

Russia has estimated how many millions of Russians will lose their jobs due to the war in Ukraine

Foreign business alone has directly created 2 million jobs in Russia.

Foreign companies continue to leave the Russian market due to the war in Ukraine. As a result, up to 8 million Russians will lose their jobs.

Russian media write about this.

It is noted that 2 million people work directly in foreign companies in Russia. At the same time, about 4-6 million citizens are indirectly related to foreign companies.

Thus, if Moscow continues the war in Ukraine, at least 2 million Russians will become unemployed. In addition, companies that have temporarily suspended or limited their work in Russia employ up to 350,000 people.

Workers in the food and chemical industries, as well as in the automotive industry, have suffered the most from anti-Russian sanctions. By regions, the worst situation is in Kaluga and Novgorod regions.

the International Working Group on Sanctions against Russia has updated data on companies that have left the Russian market. According to their estimates, 1,033 international companies have left Russia, and another 430 have already suspended their activities in the aggressor country. At the same time, 582 companies continue to operate in Russia, financing the war in Ukraine and earning "bloody" money.

Ukrainian Armed Forces running out of ammunition, war trajectory shifting - Washington Post

Ukraine is running out of ammunition and the prospects on the front line are dim.

The Washington Post writes about it. The publication notes that hopes that Ukraine will be able to return the territories are fading in the face of Russian firepower.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/06/10/ukraine-ammunition-donbas-russia/

The euphoria that accompanied Ukraine's unexpected early victories against Russian forces is fading as Moscow adjusts its tactics, recovers its strides and asserts its overwhelming firepower against Ukrainian forces.

The new promised Western weapons systems are coming, but too slowly and in insufficient numbers to prevent Russia's gradual but continuous conquest in the Donbas.

"The Ukrainians are still fighting back, but they are running out of ammunition, and they are suffering much more losses than in the initial stages of the war. The Russians are still making mistakes, and also losing people and equipment, although at a slower pace than in the first months of the conflict," - writes the publication.

One sign that they are suffering from a lack of equipment is seen in videos posted on social media of hundreds of mothballed Soviet-era T-62 tanks being removed from warehouses to be shipped to Ukraine.

But the overall trajectory of the war has changed and is leaning in favor of Russia as the clearly stronger force.

U.S. hopes that new Western arms shipments will allow Ukraine to renew the initiative and retake some 20% of Ukrainian territory seized by Russia after its February 24 invasion are beginning to look premature, said Oleksandr Danylyuk, the Ukrainian government’s defense and intelligence adviser.

"The strategy and tactics of the Russians are completely different now. They are succeeding. They have more resources than we do, and they are not in a hurry, now there is much less reason for optimism," he said.

Ukraine is now almost completely out of ammunition for the Soviet-era weapons systems that were the backbone of its arsenal, and Eastern European countries that used the same systems are left with no surplus to donate, Danylyuk said. Ukraine urgently needs to switch to longer-range and more sophisticated Western systems, he said, but they have only recently been deployed and not in sufficient numbers to match Russia's massive firepower.

HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems for the Ukrainians are on their way, but first the Ukrainians need to be taught how to use them, and they are still a few weeks away from the battlefield.

Meanwhile, the Russians have adapted their tactics in a way that allows them to make full use of their firepower. Staying at a distance from Ukrainian positions, they relentlessly strike at them, and then seize territory when the Ukrainians are forced to retreat.

The Russians are also better at pooling weapons, using close air support and deploying infantry. Analysts say the tactic is helping reduce Russian casualties by inflicting significant casualties on civilians living in the cities and villages that are being targeted.

While it is noted that the Ukrainians are still fighting well and can inflict tactical defeats on the Russians when they have the opportunity, the Ukrainians are also making successful drone strikes on positions and supply convoys for Russia.

Human strength is less of an issue for Ukrainians than a shortage of ammunition and equipment, said Danilyuk, who estimated the number of men who have registered for the potential fight at 6 million. But Ukraine does not have the equipment, including protective equipment and guns, and artillery systems, to send all comers.

The Russians are also facing a shortage of manpower after the heavy losses they suffered in the early days of the war. But Russia has rebuilt its forces more than many military analysts expected, adding 40,000 to 50,000 to its depleted army in the past two months, raising the age of the reserve, deploying new forces and revitalizing units that have been destroyed, Danilyuk said.

Western officials say they expect Russian troops to soon secure full control of the city of Severodonetsk and then likely turn their attention to Lysychansk, on the other side of the river, allowing them full control of the Lugansk region. After that, it can be expected that they will be aimed at the Donetsk region.

Earlier it was reported that Russia is running out of high-precision missiles, but at the current pace, it can wage war against Ukraine for another year.
