  1. You know what, all of you have over stepped the line. I would never call someone else a "scammer" or "scam". I am a very much real person, and very much upset. I know I post all over the place on ADI, deal with it, and stop crying. But you know what it is the the best way in the world to get my name out there, and it is free as compared to other advertising that I do. I know it is annoying but I bet everyone has heard of me and that is what I'm going for. I am in the line of work to never shut my still down, keeping the still on is how we all make our money, isn't it? I think ADI is a great place to meet and help out people all the time. I have made several stills for people I have met via ADI forums. Not to mention all the hours I have spent on the phone using my own time helping people out with there problems. For those I have helped out you know how I help. Let me give you some facts. 2 years ago in Iowa my Distillery "Dehner Distillery llc" was 2nd from the last in production and sales. Only selling about 200 cases (9L each) a year. Now because I added more products, and do contract distilling, private labeling and other distilling stuff, I will be #1 in Iowa by the end of the year, if I am not all ready! I am moving to a building that is about 10 times bigger than the one I am in currently. NOW, in a month alone I make a little over 1700 proof gallons of rum (and it is getting ready to just about double), 1060 proof gallons of vodka, and about 650 proof gallons of 151p. To be honest I probably make more rum than anyone in a 1000 miles radius of me. I send product all over the United States. All of you that posted about me being a scam should apologize. If not so be it. Anyone have any problems call anytime! 515-559-4879 Take Care: Joseph Dehner
  2. Go to lowes and buy 1/2 type m copper tubing and use a chop saw and cut your own tubing. Or spin it on the lathe and use a pie cutter. For what I'm doing those numbers are way to low. Let's talk about .5 gpm . Yes, use a small oil bath boiler and use the spent mash for the steam. Just for giggles I'm building another continuous still. I'm building it and approximately 4 to 5 hours. I will post pictures and a video. This will make three continuous stills I have. People overthink building these things a lot.. It is a super simple easy concepts. And once you know the basics you can do just about anything.
  3. an agitator helps speed things up a lot. I saw a 150 gallon still with 250,000 but steam boiler and agitator do a stripping run in 2.5 hours. (Carl still) side note turn the agitator up to 650-800 rpms
  4. I put it in my push mower with about 10% gas and mow my yard.
  5. I can say I do contract bottling and private labeling for other people. My clients own there trademarks, but I have the cola with there permission to use there logos so I can file logos. My name is on the back of every bottle I touch. :0) I know what your talking about tho. I think is sucks for us people that are following the rules. I think some of these people know that they are breaking the law on purpose. Joe Dehner www.dehnerdistillery.com
  6. Just a suggestion, just use a "thermo syphon" no crazy float and level sensor required. Just sayin :0) Take care: Joey D.
  7. the cheapest thing you could do is go with a stainless column and put in copper dashing rings (cut up copper tubing). more surface area, and 1/4 the cost of copper column easy.
  8. are you selling one, or want one? Im confused.

  13. NAH, If you truly worried then take a sample of about 3/4 gallon and put it in to a 1 gallon glass jug and top it off with water, check the ph and temp, and degas the sample and if it starts fermentation again then thin your wash down. I understand it showed 0% but the alc. might throw that off. questions 515-559-4879 take care
  14. I never said I run the whole thing that hot. Only starting up and getting to temp quick that is the hottest I go. Hotter than any steam system. And truth be told as we all know it is not really over all how hot the pot is running at it is what your system (column, dephlegmator, and condenser) can handle. And about 2 million other factors. The oil is nice! Take Care.
  15. I run with the condenser and dephlegmator on two different water lines. take care
