The Russians holding a "referendum" in Kherson will put an end to the negotiations

Ukraine put forward an ultimatum to the Russian negotiators.

"Ukraine has put forward an ultimatum to the Russian negotiators that holding the so-called "referendum" in the Kherson region by the Russian occupiers will put an end to the negotiations," the report says.

A round of negotiations via online communication was held on April 21 and 22.

At the same time, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the negotiations had allegedly stopped.

As UNIAN reported earlier, in occupied Kherson, the invaders intend to hold a "referendum" on the creation of the so-called "Kherson People's Republic." At first it was planned to be held from May 1 to May 10, then it was postponed to April 27. About 40% of the residents have already left the city.

Cities and villages of the Kherson region have been living under the control of Russian invaders since the first days of a large-scale war. The Russians shoot at rallies for Ukraine, they try to introduce rubles and arrange a maximum cleansing of all activists.

Europe is running out of marine fuel due to war unleashed by Russia - Bloomberg

The effects of the war have reverberated on energy markets, with many companies shunning Russian oil and ships.

The stocks of vital ship fuel in the northwest of Europe are running out. The reason is the full-scale war unleashed by Russia in Ukraine, which continues to destroy the oil market.

This was reported by Bloomberg with reference to the chief operating officer of fuel supplier Monjasa Group Svend Molholt.

Thus, according to him, ships that before the war refueled with low sulfur fuel in the Baltic region are now increasingly going to the Dutch-Belgian hub for additional supplies. This tightens the market and creates a domino effect for the rest of northwestern Europe.

At the same time, many companies are avoiding Russian oil and ships as international sanctions against Moscow continue to develop. At the same time, many European refineries carried out seasonal maintenance, further reducing fuel supplies. In Antwerp, the price of it rose faster than futures for Brent oil.

The situation is similar with conventional diesel fuel - it also skyrocketed in price after February 24th.

KPI OceanConnect CEO Soren Hall noted that there is a general shortage of MGO and other diesel fuels in the market today, "stretching from northern France to the Baltic."

"At this stage, we don't foresee a market where shippers can't get their gas oil," Hall said. But those who buy at the last minute "will struggle" and may have to pay a fee, known as demurrage, to wait for delivery at the port.

Earlier it was reported that the EU and the US are preparing a new package of sanctions against Russia. It includes a clause about Russian oil.

Ukrainian Defense Minister accuses UN of condoning Russian war crimes

He noted that the Western response to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine was too slow.
Russian soldiers violate all existing rules and laws of war. They torture, kill and rape civilians in different regions of Ukraine.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that Russia had done everything against which international institutions were created.

He is convinced that the UN Security Council should be replaced by new and more effective institutions that can serve the interests of all countries, not just the great powers.

How can the UN Security Council, where Moscow has a permanent seat, fulfill its peacekeeping mission? What kind of security and cooperation is possible on the continent when one member state of the Organization for Cooperation and Security in Europe attacked another and killed thousands of civilians? These organizations failed," Reznikov said.

He recalled that in 1994 Ukraine abandoned the world's third nuclear arsenal, hoping that the signatures of world leaders under the document meant something. But in April 2008, Germany and France blocked Ukraine's entry into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

Already in August 2008, Russia attacked Georgia, and the world turned a blind eye to it. In 2014, Russia attacked Ukraine, and once again the world decided not to intervene.

Now Russian bombs are wiping our cities off the face of the earth, and the world cannot stop this. All this could have been prevented. If the West had imposed preventive sanctions on Russia and provided Kiev with a sufficient number of defensive weapons, primarily air defense and missile defense systems, today there would be tens of thousands of Ukrainians would be alive," the Minister of Defense of Ukraine said.

He noted that the Western response to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine was too slow.

I want to show you some videos.

This video was filmed by a man who, before the Russian attack, was filming a high-quality video about our Ukrainian construction sites.
Construction of houses, bridges, new infrastructure objects.
He speaks Russian (our people know two languages - Ukrainian and Russian imposed on us).
You can turn on subtitles in this video and make an "english translation" in order to understand what he is talking about.

Instead of construction projects, he is now filming what destroyed (brought destruction) the "Russian world" to Ukraine ...

Wherever the "Russian world" appears, destruction, looted shops and apartments appear ...
just look at this horror...
... What was burned and destroyed was once someone's "small business". People worked, dreamed of the future, built their own businesses. Now these people have lost everything they had. It's good if they didn't die...

These videos have the same name:
WAR. Russia destroys peaceful Ukraine

...I don't know if we can restore it all...
In the video, you see completely looted stores, who compensates their owners for the cost of the goods? :(

Today in Ukraine more than 10 million people are "internal migrants", i.e. these are those who lost their homes and jobs and were forced to move to another part of Ukraine.

More than 4 million people left Ukraine, these are women and children. Men aged 18 to 60 are not allowed to leave, we are still waiting for mobilization. Russia can announce mobilization, then all of us will have to fight ... but not all of us have small arms. Ukraine did not prepare for war with the whole world, therefore we do not have as many weapons as in Russia ...

The Russians keep lying about "Russians don't destroy civilian objects" - show them these videos.
The Russian population is 83% supportive of Putin's actions. Even those Russians who now live in the USA, some of them support Putin ... It's terrible ... To live in a great country, the USA, to use all the possibilities of the USA, but rejoice at Putin's "victories" ...

...I have a feeling that psycho-emotionally no one was prepared for the fact that the war would last more than a month.

I communicate with volunteers. And not just with volunteers. Everyone is in a very similar state. The first 4 weeks everyone lived on adrenaline. Everyone had one task: to stop the enemy, save people, help, survive, do their own thing no matter what. It was 4 weeks of the biggest unity. Everyone spoke the same language without opening their mouths, everyone read each other's thoughts without even looking, everyone turned into one giant smoothly and perfectly working mechanism.

We all slept for 4 hours a night, every day making decisions that would take weeks in peacetime.

I still don’t understand how it works: when you have half an hour to make a decision and the stress goes off scale, you make a decision without analysis, without weighing anything, but this decision turns out to be ideal and the best.

When time appears, you begin to weigh, consider different options, get used to each of them, and in the end, after a month, you accept not the best option. How did it happen???

The day after tomorrow is exactly 2 months from the start of the war, and I see how many are approaching this date in confusion and the question loudly sounding in silence: “What should I do now?”

Courage disappears like sand between fingers. Your ears have become accustomed to the sound of an air raid alert. The body has adapted to fear. People are returning to Ukraine. Now there are long queues on the Polish-Ukrainian border towards Ukraine.

But the war is not over yet. Help is still needed. It is necessary to change the focus, reorganize to something else, and if help is not needed where it was needed a month ago, help elsewhere.

At the same time, everyone was wildly tired. Tired of helping. Tired of tearing your hair out from what you saw. Tired of getting upset. Tired of hating...

How can we live on?

The Russians began forced mobilization in the occupied part of southern Ukraine

Forced mobilization has begun in the territories of the Kherson, Zaporozhye and Kharkov regions occupied by the Russians.

The Russian invaders are carrying out forced mobilization, including doctors, in the occupied Ukrainian territories of the south and east.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the social network Facebook.

"The occupiers are mobilizing Ukrainian doctors who remain in the occupied territories," the report says. In particular, they add in intelligence, in the city of Volchansk (Kharkiv region), junior medical personnel of primary health care institutions are forcibly sent to the front line to provide first aid to wounded Russians, in case of refusal they threaten to be shot

Also, mobilization activities for young people among the local population in the occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporozhye and Kharkiv regions have begun.

"In order to ensure mobilization measures, the possibility of leaving the Kherson region to the territories controlled by Ukraine has been almost completely blocked. The possibility of leaving towards the Russian Federation has been significantly limited," the statement said.

In addition, in the Zaporozhye region, Russian servicemen and FSB officers are looking for people of military age. “It is they who should replenish the composition of the combat units of the Russian Federation in the most problematic areas,” the report says.

The GUR noted that these events are being held despite the predominantly pro-Ukrainian mood of the population of the regions and the general motivation to resist the Russian invaders.

Russia finds loophole to bypass oil embargo - WSJ

Russian tankers are labeled "destination unknown" to make them harder to trace.

Over the past few weeks, Russia has significantly increased its oil supplies to key Western partners in circumvention of sanctions.

For example, Russian tankers mark "destination unknown" to make them harder to trace. Further, Russian oil is mixed with another, turning into a "Latvian mixture" and a "Turkmenian mixture", according to The Wall Street Journal,

According to TankerTrackers.com, oil exports from Russian ports in EU member states, which have historically been the largest buyers of Russian oil, rose to an average of 1.6 million barrels per day in April. For comparison, in March, after the invasion of Ukraine, this figure varied at the limit of 1.3 million barrels.

However, a significant share (about a third) of these shipments is occupied by delivery with an unknown destination. It is noted that as of today, more than 11.1 million barrels have been loaded on tankers without a planned route, which is more than in any country.

According to the WSJ, one of the reasons for hiding the origin of Russian oil is that European countries desperately need oil to support the economy and prevent further increases in fuel prices. But companies and oil intermediaries want to trade it quietly, minimizing the risk of a "boomerang" for financial transactions with the aggressor country.

Which European countries buy the most oil from Russia
Despite the fact that the destination of about a third of Russian oil shipments in April is hidden, the transport documents still contain information about the vast majority of destinations.

Therefore, it is known that the volume of oil exports to Romania, Estonia, Greece, Finland and Bulgaria more than doubled in April compared to the average for March. Volumes for the Netherlands, the main European importer of Russian oil, and Finland also increased significantly.

1650712505-3463.png?0.4501923113985964

Why Europe has not yet imposed an embargo on oil from Russia
As of today, only the United States, Great Britain, Canada and Australia have refused Russian oil. At the same time, the EU is more dependent on Russian energy, importing 27% of its oil reserves from the country. European leaders are considering an embargo without hitting their own economy with rising energy prices.

However, even despite the absence of sanctions, a number of European energy companies have stopped buying oil from Russia due to rising insurance costs. However, as we can see, this actually did not hit the budget of the Moscow military machine in any way, and in April, the volume of deliveries, on the contrary, increased.

As the WSJ writes, an oil embargo in Europe can only be introduced over time (not least because of the upcoming elections in France and the “kicking” of Germany), and then only partially with a gradual expansion of bans. However, some experts are concerned that traders may already be developing ways to keep Russian oil on the European market.

“Even if we see some kind of oil embargo from the EU, will they forget to sanction tankers? More ship-to-ship traffic as far from coast to coast as possible is what I expect,” said Professor Johnson .

In the town of Rubizhne, the invaders kidnapped and raped a woman while her children were waiting for her at home

In the Luhansk region, the invaders kidnapped a resident of Rubizhne and raped her for several days while her children were waiting for her at home. When the woman was able to return to the house, she did not find her children.

The Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lugansk region reports this on Telegram.

In early April, a 34-year-old woman went to buy food at one of the local markets in the temporarily occupied part of the city of Rubizhne. The Russian invaders detained her allegedly on charges of looting.

Under the threat of using automatic firearms, representatives of the so-called "Luhansk People's Republic" (the territory of Ukraine illegally occupied by Russia) took the woman out for questioning. Her phone and passport of a citizen of Ukraine were taken away from her. The Russian invaders ordered the woman to strip down to her underwear and examined her. The woman was then transported and held in the premises of one of the city's public authorities, where the military set up a prison.

“At night, the woman was transferred to one of the houses in the city, where one of the militants offered the woman to have sexual intercourse with him, threatening that if she refused, all the militants in the room would rape her. After repeated rape, the victim was again taken to prison. The next night, the woman under the threat of physical force, the same militant again raped several times,” the police said.

After that, the woman was kept in captivity for several more days. There she was beaten and interrogated. The Russian invaders tried to force the woman to inform them about the movement of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They then took the woman to the city center and left her there.

"Arriving home, the woman discovered the absence of children, and learning that they were evacuated by representatives of the Red Cross, she went on foot to the city of Severodonetsk. From one of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which the victim managed to reach, the servicemen took her to the hospital, where she is now" , the police said.

Now the woman is safe and receives the necessary help from doctors and psychologists. The police have already opened criminal proceedings on the fact of illegal imprisonment and rape by Russian invaders.

Satellite photos published revealing Russia's lies about the genocide in Mariupol

The Mariupol City Council confirmed the preliminary estimate that from 3,000 to 9,000 civilians were buried in Mangush.

The Russian occupiers are trying to hide the scale of the genocide in Mariupol, masking the huge mass grave in Mangush with "tablets".

This was reported in the Mariupol City Council, publishing a photo to confirm.

“So far, it’s going very badly. In the photo we see only one sector of the burial, where, judging by the numbering of the plates, there are at least 268 burials. On satellite images from April 9, we see 4 such sectors. Therefore, Russian propagandists themselves documented the fact of the murder of 1,000 Mariupol residents,” – the message says.

Taking into account the information of eyewitnesses about the nature and scale of burials throughout April, the Mariupol City Council confirmed the preliminary assessment: from 3 to 9 thousand Mariupol residents were buried in Mangush.

Let us recall that Mayor Boychenko said earlier that the largest war crime of the 21st century was committed in Mariupol: "This is the new Babi Yar. Then Hitler was killing Jews, Gypsies and Slavs. And now Putin is killing Ukrainians. He has already killed tens of thousands of civilians in Mariupol. And this requires a powerful reaction from the entire civilized world. We need to stop the genocide."

According to eyewitnesses, in a huge mass grave in Mangush, the bodies of the killed Ukrainians were laid in several layers.

China has launched a rail route to Germany that bypasses Russia.
The main thing is that this is not a project, but a reality - the first train has already left on this route.
The new route runs through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. It crosses the Caspian and Black Seas with the help of combined rail and sea transportation.

I don't have very good news.
The war will not end this year. And in the following also.
We can sign any ceasefire agreements, but Russia will not go anywhere near our borders.
And for Russia, the existence of Ukraine and the Ukrainian free nation is like death.
She acts like a criminal sweeping away traces.
Why?
Because Russia is a fake state that stole our name, history and many heroes.
She came up with her own and rewrote our story many times.
Now the facts.
Kyiv was founded in 482
The mass baptism of Kyiv was in 988
Baptized Russia Prince Vladimir (956 - 1015 years of life)
Moscow, as you know, was founded in 1147 by Yuri Dolgoruky
At the same time, Yuri Dolgoruky did not found Moscow (!), But squeezed it from the Suzdal boyar Kuchko Stepan Ivanovich, who owned villages along the Moskva River, killing him. https://cutt.ly/qF3Pnmd
Yuri Dolgoruky himself was a great-grandson (!) Of Vladimir Svyatoslavovich, who baptized Russia.
And Yuri Dolgoruky was buried in the Pechersk Lavra near Kyiv https://cutt.ly/YF3DoGc
So for the northern neighbors - Kyiv is a sacred place!
The territory of Kievan Rus was:
 - XI century 800,000 km2
 - XII century 1300000 km2
https://cutt.ly/oF3S7Z3

And Kievan Rus stretched from the Black Sea to the Baltic and White Seas!
For comparison, the territory of Ukraine today is "only" 603,548 km².
The name Ukraine is not invented by "Lenin", as the dwarf recalls.
This name is first mentioned in the Kyiv Chronicle 1187 (!)
https://cutt.ly/XF3DBD8

And the word "Country" - the state - has nothing to do with "outskirts".
The name "Russian Empire" was coined by Peter I, who renamed the Moscow State, October 22, 1721, using the name of another state. https://cutt.ly/9F3GpHI

Why?
Well, first of all, what do you know about the Moscow Kingdom before rebranding?) Https://cutt.ly/rF3HJGU
Secondly, Russia was already an expensive and respected European brand at that time.
The Kyivan princes were practically related to all the royal houses of Europe.
I will never forget the chapel of St. Margaret in Edinburgh, where I accidentally read that she is the granddaughter of Prince Yaroslav the Wise of Kiev (!)
https://cutt.ly/MF3060c

And the fact that the French Queen Anne was the daughter of Yaroslav the Wise, even Macron knows https://cutt.ly/gF8OWFQ

Russia was one of the European centers of education.
The first school is mentioned in 988 in the Tale of bygone years https://cutt.ly/oF3HQjy

The second appeared in 1030, created by Yaroslav the Wise in Novgorod
Ostroh Academy was founded in 1576
Kyiv Mohyla - in 1615
It was Kyiv that the Mohyla Academy became the cradle of Russian education
Graduates of the academy were the founders of a number of schools in Russia and Belarus, especially in the XVIII century.
They founded schools and seminaries in almost all cities of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Smolensk, Rostov, Tobolsk, Irkutsk, Kholmogory, Tver, Belgorod, Suzdal, Vyatka, Vologda, Kolomna, Ryazan, Pskov, Veliky Ustyuz, Astrakhan, Kostroma in Klyazma and other cities. Teachers in these schools were mostly graduates of the Kyiv Academy https://cutt.ly/5F3JUSN

Well-known scientist Mikhail Lomonosov was also a graduate of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
However, before that he graduated from the Spasskaya School, founded by a graduate of the same Kyiv-Mohyla Academy https://cutt.ly/WF8Pinx

It is also important to remember Ukrainian soldiers.
The whole of Europe knows a lot about Ukrainian Cossacks.
And not only from textbooks.
In almost all European wars, of which there were hundreds, every third mercenary was a Ukrainian Cossack.
The history of the Second World War without Ukrainians would not be what it turned out to be.
This is evidenced by the terrible numbers of losses, more than 50% of the dead citizens of the USSR were Ukrainians.
It is extremely uncomfortable for Russia to be a world subject when it does not have its own history, its own name and its own people.
After all, "Russian" is also not a nationality, but belonging to the territory.
https://cutt.ly/7F30Jlo

And the Russian language is artificial https://cutt.ly/PF3098J
And not just the whole history of Ukrvina is trying to destroy us.
The Ukrainian language was banned 134 times!
https://cutt.ly/6F3KxTL

Ukrainians were destroyed by the Holodomor
in 1932-1933 the communist totalitarian regime killed 10 million 500 thousand Ukrainians https://cutt.ly/dF3KI61
Deported to the Far East https://cutt.ly/fF3KGp0

We selected fertile areas https://cutt.ly/vF3Vtk4

Forced to change nationality in passports (my grandfather could not go to university without it)
You can continue a long list of crimes, thefts, which is trying to hide Muscovy, the heir to the traditions of the Horde.
But they will not succeed. They did not learn the lessons of history.
Ukrainians are a nation that has successfully survived the chaos and threat of the last 400 years.
More than one empire that has clashed with us has already ceased to exist.
And this is also waiting for modern Russia.
For Ukrainians, unlike Russians, it is not territory that is valuable, but freedom and dignity.
And so far there is at least one Ukrainian in the world (and the Ukrainian diaspora is one of the largest in the world) in Russia there is no chance.
So, we will definitely win

My fellow Ukrainians!
We are living through events that are truly historic and that are determining the future of our nation. These events are being shaped by our defenders, by all of our citizens who have risen up to defend Ukraine and resist the Russian invasion. The world has already changed because of us. I would like to share details with you about events that have taken place in recent days and about what lies ahead.
On April 26, 2022, a meeting of representatives of the defense agencies of more than 40 countries took place at the Ramstein American Air Base in Germany. This included not only EU and NATO countries, but also representatives of countries from the Middle East, Africa, the Persian Gulf, and Asia.
An event like this is unprecedented and took place thanks to the leadership of our American partners and in particular, of US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin III and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Millie.
This is a true coalition, whose goal is not just to contain the Kremlin, but to defeat Russian tyranny, to secure an opportunity for the civilized world to win this war.
We explored three sets of issues related to short-term operational decisions to help Ukraine resist Russian aggression, as well as a long-term vision of how to strengthen our defenses in the face of strategic challenges. I would like to share with you the following outcomes:
First. we established an Advisory Group for the Defense of Ukraine, which will operate on an ongoing basis, and through which we will conduct monthly check-ins with partners. A permanent mechanism will enable the optimization and rapid implementation of important processes for obtaining weapons, improving logistics, and ensuring optimal coordination.
For example, when a decision is made to provide Ukraine with a certain type of weapon, this cooperation will ensure that weapons of the same type can come from different countries. As a result of several countries each providing 3-4 artillery pieces, in total Ukraine will receive an entire artillery division.
Second: Tectonic philosophical shifts have occurred. In the autumn of 2021, when I was appointed Minister of Defense, I stated that one of my key priorities is Ukraine’s de facto integration into NATO. For a long time, we have been working to convince our partners that it is appropriate to provide Ukraine with Western-compliant weapons that meet NATO standards.
The strategic decision to transition Ukraine to Western-caliber technology has finally been made. In particular, we are already receiving 155-mm artillery.
Gradually, this will ensure full interoperability of the Ukrainian military with the armed forces of NATO countries, which will result in a significant strengthening of the Alliance's eastern flank. I will admit - three months ago an achievement like this would have been considered almost impossible. But thanks to the courage and professionalism of Ukrainian defenders, and the resilience of the Ukrainian people, everything has changed.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has personally done tremendous work to make this transition happen. Prime Minister Denis Shmygal has been active at the level of heads of government. The head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak and the head of our diplomats Dmytro Kuleba have done their part on their respective fronts. This is the result of joint work, which, in my opinion, will provide Ukraine with strategic advantages.
I would like to recognize the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Andriy Deshchytsia, the Defense Attaché in Washington General Borys Kremenetsky and the Defense Attaché in Warsaw Colonel Serhiy Yatsulchak. Thank you to all of our diplomats and attaches. Each and every one is part of a great team working for Ukraine's victory.
The term "transition" was the key word during the Ramstein meeting. This transition, which began more than 30 years ago, is now approaching its final stage.
I would also like to emphasize that our discussions did not center exclusively on the supply of weapons and ammunition. We also held significant discussion about the production of weapons and military equipment, and Ukraine's role in this sector. Indeed, the basis of long-term cooperation, interaction and interoperability not only concerns our armed forces, but also our defense industry overall.
We are still open to receiving Soviet-style equipment and weapons for the immediate strengthening of our army. And we will do so as long as there is such an opportunity. But material changes have already taken place.
Third: Evidence of this transition is the fact that our armed forces have been gaining expertise in the use of western weapons for quite some time. We have not publicized this work to maintain the confidentiality of our partners. The training programs will now be scaled up and will include even those weapons and equipment whose provision has not yet been confirmed. Once these decisions are made, which I personally have no doubt will happen, we will be prepared.
I can provide an example of a recent and very relevant experience: Our artillerymen, who were training on a 155-mm ACS at a test site in one of our partner countries, hit their target with their first shot. And they then helped our foreign colleagues to improve the computer software that manages this ACS, which impressed them. Our soldiers have experienced war and real-life battles, where human life is the cost of any error.
The overall conclusion I reached during the meetings at the Rammstein base is that there are truly historic changes underway, and that they will continue to materialize in the coming weeks and months.
In addition to the general discussion, I also held several individual in-depth meetings with my colleagues.
I had the opportunity to personally thank the Minister of Defense of Germany Christine Lambrecht for Germany’s decision to provide Ukraine with Gepard anti-aircraft tanks and other steps that Germany has taken to support Ukraine. The position of the German Government is changing, thanks in part to the position of the Minister herself. We really appreciate it.
I also had a very productive meeting with my dear friend and great friend of Ukraine - the Minister of Defense of the United Kingdom Ben Wallace. The role of our British partners cannot be overestimated, we are certain of and confident in their ongoing support, and we will never forget who was with Ukraine at the most difficult moment.
In addition, I met with my colleagues from Canada and Poland - Minister Anita Anand and Minister Mariusz Blaszczak. Ukraine has special relations with these countries, they are our strategic partners. In addition to military support, Poland is providing refuge to millions of our people, and Canada has always been our friend, and it is once again providing proof of its support of Ukraine.
.
We also held very good meetings with the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Kaisa Ollongren, the Minister of Defense of Turkey Hulusi Akar, the Minister of Defense of Italy Lorenzo Guerini, the Minister of Defense of Romania Vasile Dink, the Minister of Defense of Slovakia Jaroslav Nadi, the Minister of Defense of Bulgaria and Bulgaria who was the first of the partners to visit Kyiv after February 24 - Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvidas Anushauskas.
Each of these nations is providing invaluable support to Ukraine, for which we are infinitely grateful. The international coalition in support of Ukraine against the Kremlin's tyranny is growing.
At the same time, I would like to be forthright and set realistic expectations. There are some extremely difficult weeks ahead. Practical implementation of agreements, training and logistics take time. And Russia has already consolidated its forces for a large-scale offensive in eastern Ukraine.
Assistance to Ukraine will grow, but in the coming days we will need to demonstrate our resilience and extraordinary unity.
The enemy is fully aware of its strategic defeat, but will still try to harm us as much as possible. Unfortunately, we will still lose members of our armed forces before we achieve victory. There will still be destruction and painful casualties.
We must persist. And persist we will!
For those who fought for a free Ukraine in different times in our history. For the sake of the defenders of Mariupol, Kharkiv, Izium, Rubizhne, Sumy, Chernihiv and heroes from other cities who have prevailed and who have given the gift of time to Ukraine.
For the sake of our future generations.
We will liberate our homeland. And our people will be returned to our land.
Ukraine will win! And now we no longer stand alone in our conviction of our victory!
Glory to Ukraine!
