Redirect from google to URL4SHORT.INFO

I don't think this has already been discussed, but when one googles "adi forums" the first time the link is clicked it redirects to a different site, url4short (dot) info.

At first I thought I had a virus, but it happens on every computer in the house as well as computers I've never touched before. From what I've read it appears to be a forum server side malware type bug.

It's been like this for roughly a year (that I know of). I'm guessing ADI is not that concerned. although I would like my screen to not pop up with adult friend finder while I'm at work...

I was just made aware of this problem a couple of weeks ago and the problem resulted in a vulnerability in the code of the forum platform the ADI and a number of other online forums use. The vulnerability has been fix the but the redirect bug is still there.

Short term fix: I've found that typing adiforums.com into the address bar of your web browser avoids the redirect bug. If you Google ADI forum and then click on the link that's when you hit the bug.

Long term fix: We are looking for a programmer with sufficient knowledge and experience to remove the bug without significant downtime for the forum.

If you guys notice any other problems please let me or Christy (Chowery) know.

It used to be bad with the URLINFO ridiculous redirect but the porn (Adult Friend Finder) is ridiculous.

Yeah that was a little awkward when it popped up in front of my roommates..

I wanted to let everyone know that this redirect problem has been addressed and it shouldn't be a problem anymore. If anyone continues to encounter this problem, please let me know.
